You fool! The Chrysalids could be coming for you as we speak. Quickly. Assure you have long site lines and a high rate of fire and damage weapon. I recommend an auto-cannon with HE rounds because you can never blow alien scum into too many pieces.
Yeah years from now someone needs to ask Obama what he was doing when Rogerborg was writing joystick handling code on a Ubuntu install running under VMware.
Most people try to contact the manufacturer by going to the place they set aside for discussions. EA however locks any threads on the subject, and bans the participants if they continue. So the manufacturer in this case is sitting back going "LA LA LA! I CAN'T HEAR YOU! EVERYBODY LOVES ME!"
The only DRM related problem that people who pirated the game have is that they can't use the online services. Which would still be a problem without the in system DRM. So EA could save a lot of hassle by just requiring a CD key to sign up and login to the pollination servers, and not trying to control the computers that their code is installed on.
DRM fails for the same reason that network will fail to keep someone from stealing the HDD out of the computer. Once someone has physical access, or in this case can get it into their house, all security is just a matter of time to break.
For instance a horn with a rising tone for when you are asking to get over, a horn with a cheery toot to thank people, a horn with an upset blat when people cut you off, ect...
They probably just scrape headlines and look for common words that are proper nouns (capitalized) hoping that these will attract interest. Obama has had more hype than McCain for the most part.
But in reality, when I was in highschool, I did this exact same thing, IN honors classes. I did it because it was far more enjoyable for me to 'get by' and go half fun out side of school than it was to sit in some class listening to some teacher drone on about shit that he/she barely understands better than I do.
Customer types "unit" into their urlbar. Browser goes "WTF?" and adds "www." and ".com" to the url to make it valid. Customer is sent to phishing site. Customer enters the information the website asks for to pay the bill. Phisher takes all of customer's money. Customer blames government for not protecting him properly.
Looking at that article and around the web I keep seeing it mentioned that Iridium is brittle. It could be that it will break under some conditions, though I can't find any additional information about this. Also it seems to be damaged by molten table salt so she should take it off while cooking just in case. Salt will melt at 808 degrees so that shouldn't really come up.
I agree. Just throw the discs in there. I mean its not like the people of the future will be unable to do research to determine how to use them. The only limitation is whether the discs will maintain their structural integrity for that long. Most burnable cds only last around two or three years under usage. Link
The customer does not own his password. As its purpose is to allow access to the services the company provides it is the property of the company. Of course changing it like that was a stupid and childish thing for an employee to do.
Ah but the air would also be falling through at the same speed. If you put a portal on the ceiling and floor of a closed room then soon the small difference in air pressure from the top of the room to the bottom would create a howling vortex.
Also sarcastic bastards. So its win-win.
They have already taken over. Grab a crowbar and follow Freeman. He is our only hope.

You would have a point if AVG was an acronym, but it is actually the product's name now.

There are those who would say that they already have.

Not really very constructive.

It would be nice to have multiple horns.

We use the decimal system. We just run off of short scale instead of long scale.
So why doesn't he run for president of the rest of the world? I mean it isn't America, but I've heard that at least parts of it are nice.

Most likely because, like Palin, he entered the national spotlight suddenly and so people aren't as familiar with him as they are with McCain.
Looks like this is the answer.

Things like, lets say, spelling and grammar?
I work retail. Most people wouldn't notice if I added an extra dollar to every purchase with over three items.
I think you missed a comma or two there. Or did you?

Really it would be better to autoreply to the mail so that the people could correct their addressbook entries.

I read it. It doesn't apply. You have a specific reference that says otherwise?

They could last much longer if you get higher end discs.

A more accurate analogy would be someone walking up behind you and attaching a tracking chip to your backside without you noticing.
