If he doesn't have the money to buy games, there is no loss for him pirating them. He wouldn't have purchased the game either way. Can't complain about losing revenue if there was none to be had in the first place, right?
I said that a 40 man raid in general is not for a casual player. The casual player probably plays for 1-2 hours, 1-3 times a week. Hence, 6 hours in one period is not casual.
They all have a respawn. If you take long enough to do it, mobs will start respawning. I think for most instances, its a 2 hour respawn. For the large raids, I think its a 48 or 72 hour respawn, as long as it is the same group entering (e.g. wiped and ran back to the instance).
But 40-man raids are not very casual friendly. I never actually got in a group for MC (they always fell apart) or Onyxia, but I remember something about running it for 6 hours, taking a break, then regrouping the next day and continuing the rest of it.
Counterstrike and America's Army? Both, as far as I remember, allowed an automatic weapon, a sidearm, and separate keys for grenades/mines/accessories.
Goldeneye had automatic checkpoints.
And as far as I see it, recharging health just makes the game easier. I have low health after killing this wave. Let me sit and wait until I get it back.
More games could use some orchestral music... except for when it isn't called for. Some games feel better with the cheesy metal riffs repeating in the background. It's all about immersion into the environment. Most FPS games shouldn't have any music at all. They'd be better off on the merit of their sound effects to set a mood.
I love my DS, but I don't see anyone with them aside from a few friends. It's all spoiled brats with PSPs around here. In fact, the only people I've seen with a DS are likely over 18. Then again, I don't leave the house so much unless I'm going to work or a friend's, so I may not be the right person to ask.
January 4, 2006 - Nintendo President Satoru Iwata has all but confirmed that the Nintendo Revolution will be the least costly of the three competing next-generation game systems by stating that the console will retail for less than the Xbox 360 core system which currently retails for $299 in the United States.
By revealing this information in an interview with Yahoo! Japan, Iwata fulfilled the expectations of many industry analysts who believe that the Revolution's focus on its innnovative control system rather than cutting-edge graphics and processing power would lead to a lower price point than its Sony and Microsoft competitors.
We will certainly be paying close attention to this interesting development in the Revolution's evolution.
So what we're all saying here is that Google is like an OSS leech? They're happy to use it to power their infrastructure, but not willing at all to give back to the community?
Because they're probably the same people who play a game on God mode then complain about how easy it was. They're not looking for a challenge, they just want to "beat" the game.
OTOH, there are some people who PL just to reach their friends' levels, since they didn't start at the same time.
Since Zonk is usually the main offender, I tried removing him from my preferences, as I still wanted game news. Unfortunately, he contributes 99% of the games stories. Its just that I notice that its him when its a bad story.
That would be quite entertaining. Have griefers griefed by GMs. Then they can corpse-camp them and kill them again. Have the gold farmers have bot-GMs follow them around and steal all of their mobs. Have GMs turn up the speed on the mobs for trainers. I think a little (or a lot) of that would be enough to have a lot of them stop what they're doing for a while.
"Lara Croft is the only videogame character to have achieved international-cultural-icon status"
I believe Pac-man was an international cultural icon 15-20 years before Lara Croft. Add to the list Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong, and Frogger, at least. I'd be willing to bet more people recognize Pac-man than they do Lara Croft. Most people likely see Lara Croft as Angelina Jolie these days.
Definitely not the first, but the original is one of the best that I've played. Granted, I haven't played much in that genre. But I wasn't too much of a fan of the way TO had your team all move, then the opposing team all move. I liked the way FFT interlaced every characters' movements.
SNES has Ogre Battle. N64 has Ogre Battle: Knights of Lodis (?). I hear anything from Nippon Ichi is pure bliss as far as Tactics-type strategy games go.
And the DS AoE is going to be turn-based. I'll reserve judgement on that one until I play it. I think it could go either way.
The menus are much easier traversed than the god-awful XP menus. At least most Linux distros have some sort of organization, aside from alphabetical. Want to listen to some music? Try the Multimedia or Sound and Video menu. Want to write a document? Office or Editors menu. Then from there, some of the desktop environments set it up so it has the product name, with its function in parentheses, or the other way around. Much easier, in my opinion, than searching by "Software Developer Name">"Product Name", which the user may forget.

I still see a lot of kids with GBAs, and I laugh at them because my machine is superior. Then my fiance hits me and calls me a jerk.

So far, Twilight Princess is set for 4/1/06. Has it been pushed back again, or are you just guessing?
Of course. Any tool can potentially be used as a weapon.

Here is half of your requirements
Better make sure you keep your stone in an erosion-free environment.
I've had the problem of a few of my burned CDs flaking off the reflective surface. I tried slicing it off of another CD-R, but to no avail.
That's a lie! Everyone knows that RMS only plays GPL games!
File them under "Things that are true?" I don't think the Xbox one belongs anymore..
Could you perhaps get to the uninstall if you sweep the mines away?
Forgot to include this one:
