    To deny yourself the use of debugger in pursuit of some fairytale "Real Man" "One True Way" of programming makes no sense. The fact that you conflate poor use of a tool with all use of a tool says an awful lot about your skills, and nothing at all about anyone else's.

    For the humor impaired - this is a mock ad for Microsoft as possibly hosted on Wikipedia under the proposed ad program. I'll grant it's not that funny, but it certainly doesn't deserve to be modded down. Anyone with points want to fix this?

    Math-wise, computers are far more intelligent than the average individual at computation.

    Maybe you don't realize just how much calculus is involved in walking down stairs.

    The human brain is a computation engine of more power than people understand. It just doesn't happen at a conscious level, so we're not always aware of it. Our brains operate at a level far above raw computational power, which is really all our machines are good at right now.
