He probably hit on the topics that needed to be public most, for him, and the project. He is very blunt. He probably wants to concentrate on Linux and he's probably tired of people coming to him with fud. I don't think he is scared to say what he feels, he just wants to use his time on what he loves, family and programming.
"...a place where you can look over your collection [of game boxes] with pride, [...] the races you have won, and, of course, the money that has been spent."
Whenever I look up at the box of Big Rigs, I remember how good I used to feel whenever they announced to me that "YOU'RE WINNER!"
It's a good thing for this game that it is bad enough to be called 'worst' only scoring a 1/10, because if it had been only sort of bad, say 3/10 then nobody would have ever heard of it. Hell, I even almost feel like playing it.
When I first read this post I must've glanced at the URL before the actual link cause I saw "windriver". heh
I wonder how much 'Wind River' charges NASA for software licenses, What I mean is, It must be a highly specialized system, and it doesn't seem like it would be very profitable for them to sell only one.
This is a good idea, not only to defer yourself, but because of the headaches you are having, which is, amongst other things, one symptom of dehydration.
Maybe the Beagle 2 is working fine, with exception to the communication link. I guess this would be just as well, but it still leaves hope to contact it in the future.
This may have already been mentioned, but as a "profitable" business practice, it would probably be more cost effective to pay a normal CSR to take your call and work with you to correct the charges, then it would be to pay qualified accoutants to make sure the bills are accurate before they are sent out.
If these companies were forced to take action, in the event they were actually found guilty of negligence, they'd probably just outsource the jobs to make up the difference.
Of course, one doubts whether this will really keep violent games out of the hands of young kids anyway.
I don't think they are trying to keep kids from playing games they aren't old enough for, but rather to have a system in place that helps to make parents more aware of what their kids are playing. Maybe a conversation will take place...
"Son, this game has lots of violence, make sure you don't try to imitate things you see in it, it's only a game."
"Sure Dad, I know it's just a game, I'm not stupid"
Maybe this will have a good effect, considering most people that read this will probably dismiss SCO's claims as weak, but may think, "Linux does all that in Hollywood?"
"But apart from Photoshop, I can't think of desktop applications where you would need more than 4 gigabytes of physical memory, which is what you have to have in order to benefit from this technology. Right now, it is costly."
This line will someday be as famous as the now classic "640k" quote.
I'm not missing any limbs, and I am thankful for that, however, when I saw this post, the first thing I thought of was how cool it would be if.
I just saw this collection of pics of the same subject. It was quite interesting and thought I'd share. http://www.carapas.com/these-m...
maybe they were going for the medical records, I heard that's big business these days.
NRA.org, They have a really good program and you can usually get a lifetime membership for $500 or $1000.

This could be really huge, the source should be public. I hope he knows what to do with it.
It would only make it better.
I would suggest installing wireless and shortening up that coax.

Indeed, I wouldn't mind it being a little bigger if i could throw in a little 9.5" HDD.
