I wouldn't go to IGN for reviews. I read a review once where they knocked a whole point off the sound score because they didn't like which words were bleeped out. Also compare their scores of the PS2 and Xbox versions of the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. The Xbox reviewer basically calls the PS2 reviewer out. Its quite possible they were just having a hardware issue.
No doubt, when your idealized human specimens are Franken and Moore.

You started off on quite the wrong foot. Ever lease a car? Ever rent a carpet cleaner? Two parties are free to enter into many kinds of contracts. If they agree to exchange a certain amount of legal tender for the use of a product that will cease to work at a certain time, who are you to intervene?

There's still that little problem of noone owning a mac. But whatever, the xbox dev kits have some similarity to the ppc so lets consider PC gaming over.
There's nothing good to say about Dean. He runs a tiny state with a singular constituency (96% white, $40,000 average income). Quite the resume. The MAYOR of the CITY I live in is better qualified for national office. She answers to a larger, more diverse population, with issues that a state full of rich white people just don't have to deal with. Good times.
That's exactly what I mean when I say give it back. The notion of a system that takes money and then writes a check to the money's original owner for the same amount is so absurd I didn't think it needed clarification.
These people are ultimately insecure at some level and exerting this power over other people - making them frustrated - makes them feel in control of their lives, and thus better about themselves.

So whats your objection? You state that they took the framework the Simpsons were using at the time, that being the frequent cut-away, and build the episodes around that. The Simpsons has always been infused with pop culture references as well. I didn't comment on the quality of one show or the other, merely stated that some people who claim to not like the style of the Family Guy do claim to like the style of older Simpsons episodes which are the same style with the Family Guy pushing the format just a bit further.

Halo 2 sold 6 million copies on a closed platform and as I type this there are roughly the same number of people playing HL2 online for free as playing Halo 2 online as part of a pay service.
Its not dead, but PC gaming is staggering in a standing 8 count right now.

Doom 3's sound engine is awful compared with the original Half-Life, let alone Source.
Really? How can you claim this when its well documented across many end-user systems that after every loading screen the sound skips degrading performance for an extended period of time. None of Valve's attempted fixes so far have worked for me. I don't care how their positional audio sounds when it doesn't just work.
Video game elitism. Who would have thunk it? Can someone who plays games be a false gamer? And who really identifies themselves as a gamer, let alone a true gamer? Not anyone that has much to brag about I would guess. Do you often find yourself in conversation saying, "Dude, you may be a gamer, but you aren't a true gamer."
And this is coming from someone who plays games all day...
Today. Blame the boogieman media if you want. I can't imagine being beaten or imprisoned for visiting the Clinton Library here in America. The PARTY decides who you may or may not revere. Beating is an effective method of "reeducation".
