  10. THE REAL REASON FOR THIS DEVICE on Datels 4GB Hard Drive for PSP Reviewed · · Score: 2, Interesting

Let's not kid ourselves. This is not about putting 4GB of video on the PSP, it's about 4GB of GAMES on the PSP. Right now there is a pent up demand for a larger storage device on the PSP. Many people who became aware of the cracked status of the PSP ran out and bought a 1GB memory stick. This allowed them to play about 95% of the games released so far. (A small minority are larger than 1GB in size without ripping content from the game). Several people, however balked at the high price of a 2GB memory stick. This 4GB device from Datel serves a very important nitch. The size of a single PSP game is now no longer a blockade to playing a pirated version of said game, and with several games coming in at 200-500MB each, this means one can carry anywhere from 3-10 (or more) games (plus a whole bunch of emus&games) on the PSP at once.

    Dear Pluto,

Following the sudden death of my husband General Sani
Abacha the late former head of state of Nigeria in
june 1998, I have been thrown into a state of utter
confusion, frustration and hopelessness by the present
civilian administration, I have been subjected to
physical and psychological torture by the security
agents in the country. My son was just released from
detention few months ago by the Nigerian Government
for an offence he did not commit. As a widow that is
so traumatized, I have lost confidence with anybody
    within the country.

You must have heard over the media reports and the
internet on the recovery of various huge sums of money
deposited by my husband in different security firms
abroad, some companies willingly give up their secrets
and disclosed our money confidently lodged there or
many outright blackmail. In fact the total sum
discovered by the Government so far is in the tune of
$700. Million dollars. And they are not relenting to
make me poor for life. I got your contacts through my
personal research, and out of desperation decided to
reach you through this medium.I will give you more
information as to this regard as soon as you reply.
I repose great confidence in you hence my approach to
you due to security network placed on my day to day
affairs I cannot afford to visit the embassy so that
is why I decided to contact you and I hope you will
not betray my confidence in you. I have deposited the
sum of 30.000.000 million dollars with a security firm
abroad whose name is witheld for now until we open
communication.I shall be grateful if you could receive
this fund into your account for safe keeping. This
arrangement is known to you and my son Ahmed alone, so
my son will deal directly with you as security is up
my whole being.I am seriously considering to settle
down abroad in a friendly atmosphere like yours as
soon as this fund get into your account so that I can
start all over again if only you wish, but if it is
impossible, just help me in diverting this fund into
your account which will accrue you 30% of this fund.
Please honesty is the watch word in this transaction.I
will require your telephone and fax numbers so that we
can commence communication immediately and I will give
you a more detailed picture of things. In case you
dont accept please do not let me out to the security
as I am giving you this information in total trust and
confidence .I will greatly appreciate if you accept my
proposal in good faith. Please expedite action by
sending your reply to my son email address below.

  24. Why does everyone assume that it would be EASY? on Is Piracy the Pathway to Apple Profit? · · Score: 2, Interesting

Let's assume for a minute that Apple does decide to lock down OSX86, and upon it's release the hackers jump in start trying to make it runnable on generic PCs. Why does everyone automatically that this hack would be easy to implement? Take for example the example of the XBOX. Architecturally speaking, the design of an XBOX is quite similar to that of a standard PC, yet after more than three years of intense development, no commercial version of windows has EVER run natively on the XBOX. Sure, you can run Windows 98 on an XBOX, but not without an emulator like BOCHS. If the XBOX hacking community cannot get windows to run on a X86 based XBOX architecture (which, I may add is based on 20+ years of well known design), how in the heck can we expect a hack to run on software that has been designed for a brand new, never before seen apple-X86 architecture?

I can personally attest to the fact that there are about 25 Juiceboxes at the Oakridge Mall Target in San Jose, CA. They are sitting on an endcap in the toy section. (2nd floor, far corner of the store). The marked price is $12.48 There are also about 70 prerecorded cards (6-8 different titles) for $2.48 each. I picked up a "dexter's Lab", the rest were crap...Wrestling, extreme sports, last season's music videos, and an episode of Trading Spaces!!! (wtf?) I also picked up what may have been the last "starter set" (this includes a 32mb SD card + cardreader + software + adaptor for the juicebox) for $11.48. Of course, if you do some digging, you might find another one.
