What the hell kind of analogy was that? Are you trying to say that you had to see the first movie to understand the second? Are you trying to say that one of the movies was worse than the other?

So the whole point of the AC1 death system was the make you afraid of death with the possibility of losing your expensive items.
The whole "death item" thing was a work-around that basically broke the system. I remember when my char was too poor to have death items and having to make corpse runs in the Obsidian Hills(I think that is what it was called).
Having to sneak past all those Tuskers and Virindi half-naked made you afraid of dying!
So here is the real issue. The USB spec only allows 500mA of current. At work we design boards with USB interfaces, and I can tell you that 500mA is not much.
I was waiting to make sure the guy who does the firmware, James, was aware that he was about to/.ed. I see that someone else already posted a link to his site so it's a moot point now.
I'm using Sveasoft's version of the firmware. He's done some cool stuff, and he is very helpful. His code supports client mode, WDS, bandwidth management, etc. I currently use one of his older revs on my client device because it lets me specify a different subnet for the LAN side of my client mode box (8.3 is the version that lets you do this). I'm going to start experimenting with WDS when the next release comes out.
If you ended up buying a WET, go sell it on eBay. I ended up getting $70 for my WET11 and only had to pay another $10 to get a WRT54G.
I replaced my WET11 with a second WRT54G with modified firmware which allows me to set it to client mode like a WET device. I use this to connect to my TiVo and Xbox.
The newer revs of firmware will have WDS which allows the routers to bridge to each other and client devices to connect to them. However, I think it does half the throughput.
I just got Vonage, and I plan using Wondershaper once these firmwares mature a little bit more.
My level design experience usually goes like this:
1. Get excited about trying to design a level for *insert game title here*. 2. Download and install the editor. 3. Create a cube-shaped level. (Usually I forget to put a player start thingy and the level won't load) 4. Muck around with the editor for a little longer. 5. Realize once again that I have no artistic ability 6. Delete the editor.
I agree with some of the other replies. I've had nothing but good experiences with AT&T Wireless customer service. They're probably getting hit pretty hard with this number portability stuff right now.
Not buying CDs + not going to concerts because you downloaded a live concert bootleg = no profits for artists.
Listening to a concert bootleg is not nearly the same experience as going to a concert. A person may not like dealing with the cost of tickets or the hassle of getting to a show, but I know that I spend a lot more on concert tickets than I ever have on CDs.
Of course, I'm just giving a lot of money to a different cartel (Ticketmaster + venues).

The story below this has the word "crash" in the title so my brain combined the two into a more interesting topic.

Think Kill Bill Volume 1, then Volume 2.

Grande also offers cable & broadband, but I'm not sure if they use RR's lines.

Pluto by 2 Skinnee J's
With depravity I break laws of gravity
Blast past the atmosphere to the last frontier
I go boldly through space and time
The skies the limit but they're limiting the sky
I break orbit by habit, ignite satellites and leave rings round the planet
A flying ace like that beagle
Nevertheless this alien remains illegal
'cause their discovery don't cover me
the immigrant's been left in the cold to grow old and disintegrate
discriminate against the distant and disclaim this
cause small minds can't see past Uranus
But I shun their rays, 'cause stuns just a phase
And my odyssey runs in two thousand and one ways
And I can see clearly now like Hubble,
Shoved off the shuttle, here's my rebuttal
It's a planet
Who you represent? I represent the smallest planet
Attorney in this tourney versus those who've tried to ban it
If you don't agree go see Interplanet Janet
Cause sun is star, like Pluto is planet
Lend me all your ears and let me state my case
About all the types of satellites you must embrace
Cause like my parents, great grandparents
This planet was an immigrant
To deport it makes no sense
It's an upstanding member of the solar system
Apply the laws of earth and make it a victim
Of Proposition 187
When Pluto spawns a moon it will apply to the heavens
I will damn thee like Judas of Iscariot
If you demote this mote remote to affiliate
It's like taking ET's custody from Elliot
Support your Lilliput, cause simply put
Pluto is a planet
Do it for the children

Damn it! Thats the end of the Junkyard map. I'm never going to be able to drive in there again!

I definitely didn't enjoy Warcraft 3 as much as I wanted to, but I think that is only because of how good a game Starcraft was.

Ironically, yes. The most aggravating part of every MMO I've played is always other people.

There are a couple of people using Transmeta in there. (GenuineTMx86)

I can't speak for Win2003, but, in Win2k, this is under System->Advanced->Startup and Recovery. Turn off Automatic Rebooting.

I'm not familiar with Firewire, but Wikipedia says that a Firewire cable can provide 60W of power. That is a hell of a lot more than USB.

The Quake 3 engine is capable of hit detection. I play a lot of Urban Terror (Q3 mod), and it has head shots and hits on various body regions.

Of course you can still get your ass kicked since you just had to install that CVS nightly of Karate 1.3a.

I also highly recommend Carcassonne

Now that I think about it, those two things actually sound alike also.

Well, actually, you'll see that this works much better with illegal substances coursing through your veins. Watched sober, it doesn't really line up.
Actually, with Dark Side of the Moon playing and illegal substances coarsing through your veins, you'll probably be content to just stare at the wall.
