I think it all boils down to the nice two man elections we get forced into every 4 years. If the system was secure then either the democrat or the republican couldn't have the hope in the back of thier mind that the cars they bought for others, the funds they invested, the favors. Well, maybe that wouldn't pay off for them if the holes in the system weren't there. It seems to me that an election is no longer about what you can do for the people. Its about who can get into the running and then how bad they can make all of the other lucky fools look up until election time and even after that time at this point. Get ready for a challenged election every 4 years until the system gets sorted out... I don't know where that is on the list of reforms in this country but at the rate we are going we have a very, very long time.
Personally, when I am in need of a piece of software no matter what it be, text editor, html editor, even instant messaging software. I always go to the open source community for various reasons. The main reason being that open source projects often take a normal everyday application and add mass amounts of usable features and customizability not found in conventional pay to use software. I find that open source software often has less bugs and glitches as well. GO OPEN SOURCE!
Is this not the same thing they have been saying since day one? P2P does offer several advantages for legitimate downloads and further more decreasing bandwidth requirements for companies who wish to disperse software without the cost of large amounts of bandwidth. It is human nature to take advantage, as long as the means are there piracy will thrive on. But you cannot do away with a protocol that has great benefit when used legitimatly.
Microsoft was once a giant, but now there are many other giants with much more integrity. I read some years ago that Bill Gates was responsible for creating the most millionaires over anyone else. Will this still be the case with companies like google on the constant rise?

Get an account under a parents name, friend, etc.. Just another attempt at our justice system trying to administer punishment that isn't at all possible to uphold.

For some reason I knew coming into this article there would be several comments referring to modern games and how they corrupt children and force them to take firearms into school and shoot thier peers.
Let me first start by saying this. Is that card never going to rest? That is the biggest load of bullshit under the sun and everyone knows it. The problem is not media, nor entertainment forms. The problem is an over lazy society filled with parents who would rather blame some video game rather than take the heat for not raising thier children. Its not games, music, movies, or television that is the problem here. It is the parent who don't take time out of thier day to talk with thier children, to discipline thier children, or to even partake in thier childrens lives.
So, if your here saying violence in video games is horrific and it discusts you that your children are capable of viewing that violence.. I have a bit of advice for you. Stop letting your children run your life, step up and be a man, or woman and sensor the media your children view. When they pick up a pistol and shoot someone its no video games fault, its yours.
So put plainly if we were either to consume 30 tons of sacrin in one sitting or duct tape our microwave to our forhead and leave it running for 60 days then we are doomed... gotta love testing with rats.
So now im guessing any ipod I buy will be bloated with extra software to check the integrity of my mp3's, give me weather updates, and provide easy online customer support... just what I was looking for.
It would be a terrible course of action in any sight what so ever.. You wouldn't wait outside of your hardware store and hit people in the face with hammers until they beat the tar out of you and then invite them in too shop...
