    Untrue. Max Q is the maximum dynamic pressure relates the static pressure (p) and velocity (V) of a fluid at point 1 to the pressure and velocity of a fluid at point 2 (per your own link!). As they go faster than Max Q, if something falls off and hits the shuttle, it will have more intertial energy to impact the shuttle with.

From my extensive legal experience anyone who doesn't trust banks which are fully backed by the federal government shouldn't be using federal notes either. I can't believe a flake like this gets a story on slashdot while my legitimate posts on technology go unposted.

    I'm writing this on Ubuntu running on a Dell 1705...absolutely out of the box performance.

    If your worried about drivers, things costing too much etc, what you, as an open source user should do is contribute! Contribute to the cause and the price will improve, the drivers will improve, and then you'll be able to complain about other things.

    This guy has one fault: faulty logic. Systems are not being attacked more under Windows because of user error, it's because of the holes in the OS. Training is not the main issue with security today, it's an operating system which continues to have a paradigm of an insecure kernel. Layering is a mantra of security, it's not by Microsoft

    Finally, this "theory" should be quantitative, I question if sites which are linux only have the same number of vulnerabilities as Windows only. Why doesn't he give us some examples?

    My summary: I am ashamed to have the same certification as the author.

    The bubble has burst! Now with compiz/beryl, windoz is an antiquated, patched together qui! If you haven't seen what compiz/beryl offers the desktop, go to youtube and look. It simply blows any other gui away (including MAC).
