Unless of course, Microsoft also intended to create an RTS based on the Halo universe. Since it IS MS, something tells me they're going to milk the Halo cow for all its worth. Why wouldn't Microsoft assimilate if they didn't intend on making a similar product. Instead, they chose to destroy.
Hey I didn't mod it, don't blame me. And you're right, I was saying 'Look what I have', because its useful and I feel everyone would benefit over this rather than a thumb drive.
My girlfriend bought me a laptop hard drive in an enclosure. Its 100 GB with a 5400 RPM disc, and supports USB 2.0. I literally store everything on it, from schoolwork to movies to backups of video games. I take it everywhere with me just incase I find some software (say on my school's network) that I'd really like to take home. Or if I need to access my schedule or project documents, or maybe my voice communication client.
So, technically its not a thumbdrive, but it fits in my pocket.
EVERYTHING.
Doesn't matter, nVidia needs to showcase that they're at the forefront of GPU technology. Its a type of advertisement, word of mouth stuff. Consumers that hear about this will automatically link the best video cards to nVidia's product line.
For example, writing a word in water and having the perimeter of the pool recognize the waves, and convert it to digital text. Microscopically, that could actually have a use with a liquid enclosed touchscreen.
The major complaint about the Razer Copperhead that I hear is that the four side buttons are too easy to push. You would think a mouse marketed for First Person Shooters'ers would feature less buttons on the mouse, since fewer are required during intense gun battles (just aim, and click). An RTSer would benefit from the Copperhead's extra buttons because they could bind specific game events (select Group 1, Group 2, Attack, and Defend) to each button.
I don't play RTS's competitively, but it seems like the Copperhead would suit RTSers better, and the Krait would be better for FPS's.
I think you spent too much time speculating, and not enough reading what you quoted.
The release date of this game is "When it's done". Anything else, and we mean anything else is someone's speculation. There is no date. We don't know any date. If you have a friend who claims they have "inside info", or there's some game news site, or some computer store at the mall who claims they know - they do not. They are making it up. There is no date. Period.
Most kids are taught in high school that HTML is a PROGRAMMING language. It is very common for younger nerds to want to make web pages. Some of them even venture into Javascriptlets. Few blossom into real programmers, but it could be noted that HTML, because of how commonplace it is, is the gateway language to keyboard hacking.

I wonder if they'll start calling the new controller a Wii-Wii.
The Jawbone thing looks like it only goes on one ear. The point of sound in competitive video games is so that the player can 'bi-angulate' the sound and know exactly where the opponent is. This requires two speakers, one for each ear.
The reason this partnership occurred was because Angel Munoz, CEO of the Cyberathlete Professional League, refused to make the Counter-Strike: Source competition a headliner. His reasoning is because he feels the folks over at Valve need to learn their lesson; Never fuck with Angel. He feels they were uncooperative in the release of key updates to the Source engine, without sharing any scheduling of these updates with the CPL. In fact, they made a MAJOR update right in the middle of last years Summer tournament. Little does he realize that competitive gaming accounts for SUCH a slim number of sales, he and his organization are uncared for by Valve, as (IMHO) they should be.
Intel wanted a more graphic-intensive game to be the headliner for the CPL World Tour. That would be, Counter-Strike: Source. Instead, the headliner turned out to be Counter-Strike version 1.6, the old one, written on an engine 8 years old. While it provides a much more competitive experience, it just doesn't look pretty.
Intel wanted to show off their NEW hardware. They are throwing millions of dollars into hosting the CPL events, but nobody is recognizing that this particular game is running better than their computers at home. That's because 1.6 can run on any computer 6 years old and still look decent.
The partnership ended because of the CPL's unwavering stupidity. If they continue to market to such a narrow group of people (competitive gamers), they will never make their competitions a major event. As of now, the only spectators of competitive games are hard core gamers. If they want to attract outside audiences, they NEED to attract outside spectators. Couch potatoes watch Football games; CPL should be marketing to couch potatoes too.
Proof that I feel very strongly about this issue; my signature.
"it is theoretically possible for them to block out competitor websites and only allow users to access websites that have paid Google to be shown to their users."
It's also theoretically possible that they won't allow images to be displayed on their pages unless they include one or more primates and their monkey genitalia.
It is theoretically possible that a lot of things could happen. We know, if you can control something, you can create all the possibilities in the world. That doesn't mean that any selection from the infinite possibility space will actually occur.

Fuckin A it is. I have to say, I'm not surprised. But you know what? Half-Life 2 was well worth the wait. In fact I felt that it was at least two years ahead of its time, a bargain for 2004. I know Aftermath will not just be an expansion pack, and will dig deeper in the story line just like Blue-Shift did to the first episode.
Its also hard to be upset at Valve since they are promising me de_nuke and a few new models for CS:Source this month.

Any show or movie that still exists* There is footage from films such as Metropolis that will sadly never, ever be recovered.

Hope they will soon!

"Visual Novel == Dating Sim Game == Hentai"
It is a common term used in biology, meaning exactly what it implies.
Who cares what the headline is, there's an article accompanying it isn't there?
sheesh
Yeah, just like Wikipedia is a forum based around vocabulary with a wiki-based software format.
Mousepads like this are released every day. Unless its something amazing, we don't care to read about it, least of all on the FRONT PAGE OF SLASHDOT.
I'd like to read a review of one of these, however: www.corepad.com

Funny how to image accompanying this article is a picture of a random asian man looking at an ultrasound of a brain. I wonder if this has anything to do with the article at all?
