    How long did it take the US to go into the moon in the first place? If Malaysia wants to reach the moon in 2020 (15 years off), and the US did it in less a decade originally, who's to say Malaysia can't do it in its timeframe?

    What version have you been using? Adobe 7 is very quick (even the professional version) in opening up PDFs. Heck, I don't even notice sometimes that my PDF is already open, it's so fast. Even with 6, you could move the plugins to a different folder so that Adobe wouldn't load them all up at the same time.

    Did I miss your point? I don't know how else you could mean what you said.

    You're using the popular definition of theory. Evolution will *never* be more than a /scientific/ theory. Gravity is "just" a theory, and will never become more than that.

    APOD shows the same picture every once in a while, so that's why you see one of the original dates for this photo. This is a classic picture, in any case.

    No, the right/left in terms of conservative/liberal came from the French government. I didn't look this up, but off the top of my head, with the different "estates" that France had, the nobles/bishops sat on the right of the king and the peasants/craftsmen sat on the left of the king, hence the Right and the Left.

    You should read it more closely--It's saying that artists get 8 to 14 cents from the record labels (who get 65%). Apple doesn't pay the artists, record labels do.

    Not true. The $ (sometimes seen with two |'s) actually represents the Pillars of Hercules (the entrance to the Mediterranean sea). The word dollar has been around for quite a few centuries, too, from a German word for a Czech town where dollar coins were first made.
