for future reference, the shirt in question says nihonjin kanojo boshuchuu (currently accepting applications for a japanese girlfriend) and why doesn't slashdot let me post japanese characters??
and if you wear that shirt, japanese people will feel embarassed for you, so i suggest you don't ^_^

This is straight from Texas Department of Transportation's driving manual (which you MUST read if you are to be licensed to drive in Texas):
Speed Limits Now Unless a special hazard exists that requires a slower speed, the following speeds are lawful: 15 miles per hour in an alley, on a beach or on a county road adjacent to a public beach; 30 miles per hour in an urban district on a street other than an alley; 60 miles per hour if the vehicle is a school bus on a numbered state or federal highway outside an urban district, including a farm-to-market or ranch-to-market road; 50 miles per hour for a school bus that has not passed a commercial vehicle inspection or is traveling on a highway not numbered by the United States or Texas; 60 miles per hour in daytime and 55 miles per hour in nighttime if the vehicle is a truck or truck-tractor towing a semi-trailer on a farm-to-market or ranch-to-market road; 70 miles per hour in daytime and 65 miles per hour in nighttime if the vehicle is a passenger car, motorcycle, light truck towing a trailer or semitrailer, truck or truck-tractor, truck or truck-tractor towing a semitrailer or buses on a numbered state or federal highway outside an urban district, including a farm-to-market or ranch-to-market road.
I can't speak for North Texas, but I do know that in Central Texas (where I am from), recently a judge said "Hey RIAA, you can't sue all these people together, you have to file individual suits," so perhaps there is some hope that the Texas judges will stick it to The Man.
although "waiyaressu" and "rautaa" and stuff will get you nowhere...
just a few words that are important wireless is actually "musen" (literally "no wire") router is actually "ruutaa" which sounds like a type of animal that digs through roots -_-;;;
also you can refer to your wireless router as "musen kikai" ("wireless machine") but i'd prefer to use "musen ruutaa"
now the wireless signal itself is NOT "shigunaaru" but "shingo" as in traffic signal
other than that, i really can't think of any other japanese words that aren't loan words from english
Area refers to the two-dimensional area of a figure by default. So, to measure the surface area of a hyper-dimensional figure, you measure the area of each of its two-dimensional faces.
You may also refer to three-dimensional area (or volume! -- same thing) of a hyper-dimensional figure.
because WinMX has no spyware in it, and it finds tremendously copious amounts of asian files, while emule struggles...plus with WinMX i never ONCE had to search for servers online...install, run, search for anything in japanese, korean, or chinese and i get a schlamajillion availables...
or you can use WinNY if you can read Japanese...it's like freenet+emule named after winmx
i built one myself using an old Dell Latitude xpi 133, a perl script, and redhat 5.0 at the time...the laptop wasn't doing anything else, so i just did it as a project...i had the perl script generate an html file with javascript that would cycle through all pictures in a given set of directories every minute or two
turned out pretty good except for the UGLY LAPTOP SITTING ON THE TABLE IN THE DORM!
for having the idea of putting suprnova on freenet! could freenet take that level of bandwidth? i'm not completely familiar with freenet, but i know the general idea that anything on freenet is, in theory, completely anonymous

you must be an opera user
that's ok, me too!
i came to japan after spending a hear and a half doing this face-to-face, and i tested higher than all but 4 other americans at my uni...
one is a native japanese speaker (darn those nissei!), two have been studying for six-plus years (versus my two)
the other is 16 and a genius
in summary, face-to-face or even skype works so well, as the actual real-life conversations make or break your bilingualism!
