Can I run dreamweaver or photoshop (not the crappy gimp) without using WINE or something? Thats about the only thing keeping me from using Linux full time.
I have come up with a solution that fixes both problems. An AP that does intermittent access, so that you can connect, but after enough time to do a basic session of E-mail or web research, it refuses you for 5 minutes.
So it refuses you for 5 minutes....you wait for 5 minutes and go back to doing whatever you were doing....seems like it would add more time, not reduce it.
He's not a badass yet...he's a teenager, and i doubt anyone here was a 'badass' when they were younger...all teenagers are moody whiny bitches, and i thought it was more realistic than trying to make him be more grown-up than he should be, unlike those 'dawson creek' fucktards.
Well, since you seem to have a wife and two kids, you probably got a home at decent rates awhile ago. I live in a backwood place in FL, and just got a house for $185,000...my buddy from highschool lives down the street, bought his about 3 years ago for $70,000...so don't talk until you have that situation.
He's 5....he's learning the basics of life...of course he's gonna fail a little bit...how easy was it for anyone to remember your ABC's and 123's when you're in kindergarten, and everything you see and hear is brand new?
Why is this even a debate? No matter how you look at it, sharing movies is ILLEGAL. It doesn't matter if you bought a legal copy of 'Jenna does Veamon...twice', and so you can do what you want. Sure you can loan it to a friend, but not to 10,000 online friends. Regardless of any kind of free-speech crap that someone tries to argue with, if you didn't pay for it, then it's stealing. bottom line.
Windows can be setup to just run setup and come back later and have it fixed. Her at work, we have a server that a new station logs onto when its first build, it installs XP with SP2, Office XP, Firefox, and all the updates for the OS, and sets all the permissions for everything...just takes some time to set it up the first time, works flawlessly now.
I've used a standard, stright out the box XP Pro installation on my hp pavillion laptop no problem, had to update some stuff since its old now, but if i hadnt it still would have booted and worked fine...Different flavors of linux did the same. Suse, Mandrake, and Xandros worked fine, Redhat, CollgeLinux, and Slackware didnt...
It was ruined by going with the biggest names in hollywood for the last three movies.
Biggest names in Hollywood? I can only think of three...Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson, and Samuel L. Jackson...dont think I would call Natalie Portman or Hayden Christenswhatever 'big' (although he did a good job in "Life as a House" and "Shattered Glass"). Who else is a big name?
isntead of logging out, they could just do the right click - runas and be a lot easier
The point is to add another software tool to help build even more of a following to google
Yea, it's so interesting that funds that could be used on more important things instead goes to researching why ice melts in my coke...good one.
Why do people quote Wikipedia as an authentic source?

In today's market, just concentrate on A job. I graduated with my MS this past December, and am finally starting a job in a reltaed field on the 29th.
How bout VPN + Remote Desktop? Since the window will actually be your own XP box, the password shouldnt be intercepted....I think...
Ummm...duh? Who is the ass-clown that ok's these stories? If you're on Slashdot, you should know what a Live-CD is...good god....

If you can afford a laptop, you can afford internet access. Whether it's crappy $10 a month Netzero, or roughly $35-$40 for broadband...
Someone actually went there?! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Maybe now, they can surf websites and look at pictures of food amd see how crappy their life is.

Or the fact they've been on the island for who knows how long, and yet none of the guys have beards, no one has long hair, no skin blemsishes, etc...
I require my kids to use at least 14 character passwords on our home network
What a fuckin loser.

She's still around? I figured she took her shitty songs and crawled back under the ballsack she came from.

well, when web hosting is as cheap as $25 a year, then yea, shell out that two bucks a month and lose the ads.
Not to mention that most north-Americans are dumbfucks. No surprise there.
dumbfucks who run the world...can't be that dumb...
