Not really enterprise but my college uses LTSP with 300 or so clients mixed in with normal style boxes all connected to netware servers. They use RDesktop in X to then connect them to windows servers automatically on startup which then give you a login to the netware network. Theyre quick to boot and theyre main problem is the occaisional failure of the windows servers. I still dont see how they get true multiuser environments out of windows though (server 2003)
To be honest, looking at it now, it does suck but the game is remembered as a great for the memories associated with it. With the only major game console contender bing the PS1, Goldeneyes multiplayer was one of the first like it. 4 player some fun levels made it addictive. I remember my school used to have goldeneye competitions for charity week. It was always a bit hit. Its a game whos memories surpass the content.
Dont forget to have a paper CD sleeve explaining in very simple terms what to do.
Also a label of "free software" could give the image to the regular library goer of inferior quality as sowtware is (for them) associated with cost. A more subtle title such as "public software" is also more accurate and is something that follows logically in a public library.
So now kids will effectively drive themselves to school?! There are lost of uses for this but the emergency reaction times will never be as good as a human.
the technology needs to be made fool proof before it can be set loose on the roads.
I've had that happen a number of times. Usually they strip out my name and repost what I have verbatim. Sometimes they take credit themselves. I discovered this by accident once and have noticed this ever since. I've even had slashdot comments ripped off. Whats so hard about original thought or writings anyways? If immitation is the sincerest form of flattery, whats plagarism?
