  10. While a agree with the whole first part of what you said, you lost complete credibility when listing the ''actual'' good games. Terraria and Minecraft are both child games, Torchlight is pretty bad side by side with Diablo and Titan Quest, Team Fortress 2 is becoming more than ever a ''look at my hat game'', Doom 2017 has a very poor game design (you could play without ever shooting a enemy just by keeping punching and refiling your energy, and each room is just a big hangar, no claustrophobic or dark surprising environment). At least name really good games with atmosphere and good graphism: Bioshock, Pillars of Eternity, Specs Ops the Line, upcoming Descent Underground, Arma 3, Europa Universalis 4, Grand Theft Auto 5, Max Payne 3, Rome Total War, maybe also Resident Evil 7

They have all the vintage ports as well than hdmi. I really love plasma produced by LG, because they are a good mix of quality and low price. Drawback: consume more energy, so it's not possible to produce a 4k plasma.

  13. comparison to other soc? on Tiny $45 Cubic Mini-PC Supports Android and Linux · · Score: 1

This seems very promising, especially as a small media centre. I wonder however how it compares to cubieboard2 and other dual core arm processors based soc. Also, community support is important for that kind of device and it may take some time before documentation is good enough. But all cubox versions seems fair-priced. Even Intel new Haswell Nuc is very similar to those board, albeit with much faster specs and slightly bigger case, but same 1.3 ghz and more and more integration inside cpu chip. Desktops computers may very soon turn into a battle between small soc and nuc, who both support Gnu/ Linux and Android, as windows seems a bit irrelevant now for that kind of device and to most people who prefer to use a phone or tablet. This is interesting to look upon too as it may be the sign of a second golden age of computing.

So 3do is in fact 24 bits instead of 32 bits.
As for Video Games Museum, you could not believe anything they say, just too much errors: for them Dreamcast is 128 bits and Genesis is 64 colors instead of 512... You can also check:

  24. Re:greatest consol ever on PlayStation is 10 years Old Today · · Score: 1

Sorry to deceive you, but the number of bit does not matter much in console. Look at this:

(formely Mattel) Intellivision : 16 bits
atari: 8 or 16 or 32 bits depending of the models.
    Nes: 8 bits
    Master System/Game Gear: 8 bits
    Neo Geo: 16 bits
    Snes: 16 bits
    Turbo Grafix-16 : dual 8 bits
    Genesis: 16 bits
    CD-i: 16 bits
    3DO: 16 bits
    SegaCD/ JVC x'eye: 16 bits
    Saturn: 32 bits
    PSX: 32 bits
    PS2: 32 bits
    Saturn: 32 bits
    X-box: 32 bits
    Dreamcast: 32 bits
    (Ultra) Nintendo 64: 64 bits
Jaguar: 16 bits (however, this one is contested because the processor contained a lot of 64 bits intructions, so it *could* be considered 64 bits depending your criterions.)
Judging strictly by the number of bits, N 64 should be the best console, wich is evidently false.
Also, 1979 Intellivision should be on par with NeoGeo, two 16 bits systems.
As for 128 bits generations, this is simply a myth, as they don't exist.
The only thing 128 bits is the DSP for accessing a larger sum of ram than a mere 16 megs.
And for the best console ever, my choice is without any doubt NeoGeo.
Sega-CD and Dreamcast would be my two runner-up.
Special mention to Capcom CPS arcade machines.
