  1. use your tags and script logic correctly on Web Development - The Line Between Code and Content? · · Score: -1

if your HTML is structural and not contextual then you have no problem. Well thought-out PHP, MySQL, XHTML, and CSS will let you code an entire site that not only separates content from style, but structure from content. Use a little common sense when you use PHP to construct your XHTML and you've got a portable template engine that you can re-use on different projects.

The University of South Florida's Student Government Computer Services has a great system. It's written entirely in-house by a couple CS undergrads. Look under "Meet the managment" and send Kyle Woodlock an email.

I recommend notepad, or a nice IDE. Invest in the latest version of Paintshop Pro (it's all you need and much cheaper than Photoshop), or tough it out with The GIMP Read up on CSS based layout, and if you're feeling especially adventurous, buy a book on PHP and MySQL. I can't stress enough the importance of CSS based layout. Keeping content and structure separate from layout and design will let you refine your skills and perfect the look of the site without tinkering with the core of it.

It's fair to say Warcraft defines the Real Time Strategy genre. Most all features you see in today's RTS games were pioneered by Blizzard - unit selection, shortcuts, GUI, and multiplayer. FPS games? Doom, and Half-life for the sub-genre of multi-player FPS.

Pasco County Police aren't reknowned as the most noble of police forces. Most of the cops here are more interested in nabbing someone for doing 5 over on some back road than serving out a healthy dosage of justice.

As for the guy that runs all the local EB's (he owns about 5 in the Tampa area as far as I know), he's the dumb-asshole type. Thinks he knows everything about everything and overprices the used stock quite a bit above other EB's. I make a point to drive to Tampa instead of buy from his store that's 20 minutes closer.
