Don't forget the beta versions of both Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server 64bit versions, currently in beta. *Me waves his trial 64bit copy of Windows 2003 Server*
Thats shows how much time is lost when it comes to legos, heck, those people that did that monty python skit had wasted tons of times..... all in the name of legos.... reminds me of my "wasted" time..... *digs up the legos again* ^_^
Well now I can play counter strike on live with my friend in bombay, who is on 128 dsl... which is VERY pricy..... i feel for him... but then again, there is not really going to be a huge fan base there seeing that people there are still without a computer, let alone a dial-up connection, or high speed broadband for that matter.
One of these days, when the hubble or some other high powered telescope finds yet another farther distance, and older galaxy... ummm yeah, something of that extent. but i'll be old by then.
".. I have no doubt that Microsoft will open their full arsenal of lawyers." Those wouldn't be those "lawyers" from that episode of the Simpsons with Bill Gates now would it? Cause I fear them more than the former. >_
I have 100% switched to Mozilla now. FireFox (what was FireBird in the 0.7 release) is THE best browser I have ever used. BAR NONE! Support for the "google bar" and native popup blocker protection. Intergrated download manager. Even Themes that don't suck! There are no more IE exploits too! Its even open source to boot! Now if it only had a navtive spyware detector (i.e. can tell you if a cookie that is spyware related maybe install). Now that would just make me cry with joy.
I think that would make my jaw drop many a times to think that its a Ferrari driving by instead of a laptop powering up. Hmm.. and for that low, low price of 1800 dollars, I can make other people feel the same. *me snickers*
"Heck, Microsoft and IBM can work out a way to make custom logic interface with VPC better instead of it being exclusively modifying VPC (within reason of course)."
Guess this means that IBM and Microsoft are friends again? After what happen with the whole OS/2 thing.... *sweatdrop*
I recently switched over from Bellsouth Fast Access DSL to Time Warner's Road Runner service. So far, I am very please of the performance and the quality of both the service and their customer support team. From my unlimited 1.5Mbit/256Kbit DSL line to an "unlimited: for now" 3.0Mbit/512Kbit Cable line. Both services so far are still with unlimited access. I pull over 400GB a month downloads easily on my DSL and over 150GB a month for uploads, Bellsouth did not have a problem with it. I have yet to venture this with Time Warner, but I am assuming (for the most part), its the same. Lets just hope after the first month (after what can now be 600GB down and 300GB up), that I won't get charged for "using too much of my 'unlimited' service" deal. (I've asked them about this before I signed up too. "There shouldn't be a cap on bandwidth" the rep said.
being used, you'd think people would be fried right on the spot. Man, now they need to add MORE 2.4GHz stuff? *Puts chicken in air and watch it roast from the 2.4GHz energies* Cheaper than a microwave.;p
... with all that time spent on inventing that robot and getting it to work, they could have tagged so many things.... not that I am promoting tagging....
*I gould build my self a posh little pad with all the trimmings. An indoor pool, filled with "lego-effect" water. Legoized plants, and pets. Ohh and don't forget the food too.* Man, I need to get rid of my legos now. -_-
with all those G5s without a home, and me in need of a new computer desk, I could put the new G5 on top of my new desk, composed of 20 or so G5s stacked on top one another.
Either way, apple is going to profit from this. Yet another shinny object where geeks with cash can buy, and have the cat take it after you just polished it.
Someone is going to get sued. That know "Reloaded" things brings all kinds of name issues. Man people are sue happy these days.

So is it the beginning of the end for AGP? Guess I have to spend another 500+ dollars for a new motherboard, ram, CPU, and video card.

If this is the case, the part, if not most of the XP and Win2l3 code is out there. Even part of longhorn if you get down to it.

Well, guess I am part of that 90%. (Currently typing this on my G4 ibook). I do own PCs too, so best of both worlds really. *shifty eyes*
