I bought my PS2 in London when I was living there the past 3 years, Ive now returned (to Sydney) and want to buy and play legit games that are sold at my local stores. WTF should I buy a new console when a mod chip will do the job? I guess im the 0.01% your talking about but thats no reason I should get shafted.
I dont think this will ever happen, Ive been in telemarketing for 5 years and the hardest sells are always the customers who receive more cold calls a day from other telemarketing companies. Now if everyone was getting 150 calls per day I dont care what the call costs are, paying my wage is too expensive for my boss if im never going to make a sale.
posts a picture of every meal he eats on Get In My Belly!, calls the Fotolog-Flickr-HeyPix-Smugmug phenomenon 'a million reality TV shows, only without the pain and humiliation.
As its bluetooth guided and a nudist beach, I'd be a little worried that the binoculars would home in on something other than the wrinkly old naked mans pockets (that he isnt wearing) to find his stashed-away bluetooth devise.
people settled for lower quality. The first time I've ever seen that in my life.
Remember the Concord...not too mention air travel in gerneral, there was a time when they had bars and grand pianos on flights now where a whisker away from advertising "free-range-flights" like we do with chicken eggs. Perhaps a bit over the top but you get the point.
I was on a warez site last week looking for some serial numbers um.. i miss placed. anyway the amount of crap that was installed onto my win98se firefox box was incrediable. after uninstalling at least 4 pieces of spyware i had 860 odd errors in my registry.. lovely!
canon do this in a "this cartridge or toner will give you say 5000 prints at 5% coverage on a4" kinda way.. obviously its hard to be precise but most text documents have 5% of the blank page covered in ink, where as a full a4 image will have 95%-100% of the page covered if you can get your printer to print almoast to the very edge of the paper.. im not sure but id say most printer manufacturers publish similar details in their specs. its not hidden just noone seems to care to look.. type " canon s600 ink yield" or similar into google..
i wish this sort of thing happened when i was a truent(cough).. im mean student. Our teachers generally called your name during role call and looked at you when you answered. If only we could have given our tags to someone who wanted to turn up or deposited it unknowingly in to that persons bag, truency would have been much easier and teachers who had lost control or responsibility could just pass the buck onto the flawed system.
"Except for Israel, Spain, and Russia, the rest of the world have not suffered terrorist attacks"
Lets not forget Egypt, England, Northern Ireland, Indonesia, Japan, Germany, to name just a few off the top of my head, but if you like im sure I could put together a list of at least 50 other countries who have had terrorist attacks if you feel it neccessary.

Have you somehow found a link between Iraq and Al-Qaeda, that the rest of the world is unaware of? Iraq was a Blood-for-Oil campaign, nothing else..
Michaels motivation for putting on this "guessing competition" and getting an idea what they may be prepared to pay for google shares, seems less stupid every time I think about it. So he just asks the slashdot community to give him the answers (way in advance) to the question that everyones asking.. How much will each share be worth at the IPO?
With a normal IPO we know that the price will be dictated by the normal forces/been counter/brokers. With this dutch method the forces are the every day punter (or at leaste thats the idea). So the best way to find out what the share price will be (read: what the punter using the dutch method will pay) is to survey a sample.
To me it looks like a creative(read: cheap) way to survey, but what he does with the information is anyones guess, after giving away 10 shares, i guess he'll be looking to make a profit so he's probably going to sell/profit from the info one way or another.
I'm sick of everyone saying "all i want is a phone that texts and calls, not a camera". GET USED TO IT. For a techy site such as/. seems like there are allot of readers that have a massive fear of new technology. I bet you were the ones who said "texting? what the f*%k do I need that for, I just want a phone so I can be contacted only in emergencies".
Anyway, I am currently employed in the mobile industry, and I have some shocking news for you. Not only are the camera phones here to stay, but look forward to built in MP3 players, video recorders, PDA, online shopping and plenty-o-porn! All this is available now of course but in the next few years (with increased storage), these will become truly functional. Hey they've just bought out some 1.1 megapixel camera phones, so its only a matter of time.
digital keys for home/office/car, payment systems (instead of swipe cards), the idea is that youve already agreed to carry a mobile with you, now why dont we add a few things to it so you dont have to carry your PDA, camera, music player, video player, keys, wallet etc etc..
just had a brain explosion! despite my total lack of musical talent I have just knocked up a 3 minute sound file of a bell ringing. I AM NOW AN ARTIST, as soon as this idea get off the ground Ill drop my latest work onto one of the P2P sites, and await my royalty cheques... lovely.
sound like your having another Hallmark moment... either that or a seizure. pls consult your doctor.

the reason australia was setup as a penal colony was that the US refused to take anymore convicts and thus Britain needed an alternative.
