    No. That Intel Bay Trail chip is part of the Atom family, intended for tablets and super-portable computers that require low power consumption.

    If you're running AV then the fraction of expense committed to defense has to be at least 50% of your desktop IT spend because that's how much of a PC's capacity modern AV takes - even though it doesn't work.

    Modern? If your antivirus software uses 50% of your PC's system resources, then I'm going out on a limb to guess that either your antivirus software or your PC (or both) are not exactly modern.

    TFA mentions that a "classic" snowflake only occurs about once every 1000 flakes. Here in the Rockies, I have observed that many snowstorms produce no noticeable "classic" snowflakes, while in other snowstorms, nearly every flake that falls is a "classic" snowflake.

    Can you, Mr. Cloud Physicist, enlighten us on this?

    ...there's really no way to go forward and get what we want without either a lot of North or South Korean blood on our hands. We could stop sending food aid to increase pressure, but the innocent people in NK will starve.

    I don't think there's any blood on our hands if we stop feeding them. We can't own their crap. That belongs squarely on them.

    If you buy an unlocked phone for T-Mobile, best make sure it uses both the 1700Mhz and 2100Mhz bands. Otherwise, you'll be limited to 2G speeds. GSMArena's phone finder tool can help you find handsets that meet this criteria.

    I can't believe nobody has mentioned this yet. What the heck happens when one of your [kids, douchey semi-friends, drunken evil twins, etc.] drops and breaks one of these controllers?

    If you ask me, these controllers look like a VERY bad idea, if only for this reason. I'd imagine the controllers alone are going to be $100 a pop. I don't think I'll be buying this, if only to prevent assault charges on myself when I rage after one inevitably gets broken by somebody being careless.

    No, I'm not a troll. I had Google SafeSearch turned on to the Strict setting. I turned it off and got the expected results.

    Try turning it on then repeat the searches. You'll get the same result as I previously did.

    So maybe Google's search engine is fine, but their SafeSearch is broken. Either way, it's a fail.

    That Google would need to set up a sting makes one wonder if they are not a little insecure about their engine. In the past week I have run into a couple of situations where Google absolutely failed.

    Try searching Google for "Martin Guitars" or "Jet City Amps". The official sites aren't even on the first page of results on Google. On Bing? They're both the first result.

    I hate Microsoft as much as they deserve (which is a lot) but whenever I am unimpressed with Google, I try Bing and am getting more and more impressed with it. I can't blame them for using their competition to their advantage.

    Looks like they finally got it right, at least in my precinct.

    This is NOT a myth! I spent some time in Central America, and I had a friend who was having issues with one of his ears. After some failed attempts at medicating, a doctor took a closer look... and pulled a small cockroach out of his ear canal.
