Looking at the info out on the PSP (PlayStation Portable) it looks like it may become the dommant Portable media player, if Sony does things right. It will be cheap too, they are taling less than $200
Sony did something like this with DVD's in Japan. Before the PS2 DVD held a low market share now DVD are perfered over what they had before
It seems like they have been talking about all the great things nano tubes can do for years now and I thought the first products were suppose to be on the market by now. It was nano tube batties for cell phones.
Whats wrong with that, I like adult games they are funny. In Japan there is a huge market for them but here there are only a hand full. Is it better to help Doom guy blow some heads off or is it better to help Larry get some.
The average age of gamers is now 18+ so whats wrong with getting quality adult theamed games, and how diffent is it from going and seeing an American Pie movie.
I aways thought an adult add on for sims would have sold really well.
Something like this happen to girls gone wild, There was a girl flashing the camera that was underage and sued. The case was won by GGW because the girl was doing it in public of her own free will. So if this game is done the same way using girls from the public then it should not be an issue for them.
I just was just thinking and wondering is NASA our only defence if we do find something? Its a very scarry thought if they are. There is no good reason that we humans are not on other planets or at least mars. We have all our eggs in one basket and one little rock could come and end it all.
This last weekend I went and saw Blade, and I was saying to my wife they care so much about downloading but it would be so easy to movie hop and see 2 or 3 movies in a day.
Ok the DS has memory to download games from other DS's over the wireless. You could use that to load other code, browser, games, chats, the only limit would be the amout of memory that the DS has.
Other things that could be done,a program could be coded to use you wifi on your pc to chat with the DS, or multi player games.
A lot of us may be guilty of this one

Stargates and Battlestar because they air other places first, If they would air here at the same time I would not download them.
Now I do still watch the shows when they air in the US and in the case of SG1 I have every season on DVD (only 50 each StarTrek should learn something about priceing)
The PSP looks nice, but how much is it going to cost? I have herd as much as $500 if the DS is $200 I wonder witch will sell more.
I cant see paying $500 or even $300 for a portable playstation.
The funny thing is I payed $500+ for my PocketPC but that can do more than just play games.
So bottom line to me and I am sure many others is price, over $200 is going to be a hard sell
I have not purchased a CD in many years. When the RIAA can stop being greedy I will return to buying music.
Why are CD's still $10+? I can go to walmart and buy a DVD for $5.50. Movies cost much more to make than a CD. Lower the price of CD's and I will come back to CD's.
As for online music, those cost too much too. Why should I pay $15.00 for 15 songs, the CD costs less, and with a cd I have a hard copy. Make the per song price cheap and make good music and people will download lots of music. Why priate music if you can get it cheap?
As for copy protection of the songs, it is more of a pain to paying customers than pirates. So forget the copy protection in songs.
Comcast took over AT&T for my cable provider, since then my cable service has been terrible.
They better not rune TechTV, I know Leo is a busy man and I hope it was his choice to leave TSS. But I can easly see the ratings going down, I am a loyal fan so it will take a lot to get me to go away from TechTV
Since I am a mostly paying comcast customer I am going to make sure they get my thought on this, and I sugguest that everone else does too.
Last month my issue of XBox magizne and it had a long review on the upcomming MechAssult. On every page and the cover they had a picture of a woman in a tight see thru shirt.
Did they need to add that to make the game better?
If I want to see half naked woman I play DOAXBV. when I play MechAsslut I play for the Mechs and distruction.
I all for Adult titles I think there should be more. Just keep it in its place.

They had them put money into SCO in the chance that really do own rights to the linux code. If it pays off they will make billions. Its like playing the loto for them 50 mil is like buying a 1.00 powerball ticket for a chance at 200 mil.
If any of us had the chance to go back and invest in MS or Apple we would do it. MS has a chance to go back and invest in Linux.
Now I am not a MS fanboy or anything, I really dont hope that SCO wins. But in the end MS is good for the software market. Why? Because they make all us software developers work harder to make our software better.
Years ago people were saying IE would rule the world. For a while it did. However after Netscape went opensourse it has became a much better program than IE.
One day Linux will be there but its not, it will be there when my mother can use a linux box.

My HP iPac4155 will play WMA files MP3 ect...
I can even stream them from my PC over WI FI, and it was only around $500.00.
The more data you can fit on a plater the faster the drive will be and I am sure it will have a huge catch on it too.

Soaps do it its $10 a month to download most of the soaps that are on TV.
Its not leagle to Download TV shows. But I do it for Stargate SG1.
It would be funny if MGM sued me for downloading SG1, I own all 7 seasons out on DVD and only keep the new eps till released on DVD.
