Why is it when ever you read a post about WoW here or anywhere else you have so many people complaining?
Its a good game and if you really dont think so save some money and delete your chars. And when you make a post about the game say something meaning full just dont bitch.
I am not a total fan boy of WoW there are some things in the the game that are a pain but I live with them and make Suggestions on how they could be fixed.
For the wait thing the big problem is about balance and not having the same amount of horde to fill the match.
Now you can mark my post flamebate and offtopic but someone had to say it...
First this is old news I got it in my EGM months ago. At that time it was kinda funny and points to a problem in customer service.
My wife shops for games and tech items sometimes. She is not dumb and know some about games and tech. But many times when she asks questions she get treated like she is stupid.
Some people are saying that its not clerks fault its just there job, but if I ran a store I would hire people that know about what they are selling or train them.
I admit that I get fustrated with people who cant tell a harddrive from a CD Rom but I dont let on that they are clueless and give them the help they need.
I have not touched my PS2 in a long time, I even waited for GTA:SA to come to Xbox to play. If you like to play online you play Xbox the experince is much better. The games look better and play better too. So how can anyone say XBox was a falure?
Ok the 360 comes out at least 6 months prior to PS3 - That will give them a lead on Sony. People will buy 360s because thats what there kids will want. If MS has it right they could take the lead over sony.

The real news will ben when the new firmware is cracked or a hole is found outside the firmware to run unsigned code. But with all othter things its only a matter of time.
The games that free will be like duck hunt, ET (yeah I know it was for Atari but it sucked), maybe zelda 2. But any good games Nentendo will suck another $5 - $20 out of your wallet for it.
The PSP just needs a killer app and it would easly take the lead. Looks dont make games but it sure helps alot - the PSP hands down the games look better. The DS is not taking advange of its hardware. Where is the DS verson of Bejewled or all those other puzzle games that most people play. The DS could also make some nice RTS game or a real verson of the Sims and Simcity.
Many of the games that are being made for multi platforms are dumming down games, for the consoles. A great example of this is DesEx 2. Most console games dont have the depth of a good PC game, most likely thats what will keep the market alive. And dont forget about RTS the console cant do them right (but would like to see a verion of AOE for DS, and Simcity)
I saw big things for the PSP and was one of the few waiting to get the psp at launch. That 2 hours I can never get back.
For me I have never had any problems with the unit it self, no dead pixes or anything. Its a great system. However where are the games? I love lummies and been playing Ridge Racer alot lately. But I want some real games. Like a RPG or something with internet play.
Homebrews: when will a system maker support the homebrew commuinty. People want to make there own games, and if they released a special SDK they might cut the people trying to hack there system by half.
What was great about Trek was the sence of explortion that it gave you. The feeling of wonder. Where has that gone? They need to find it before they start another serries.
When i herd of Enerprise I thought they would go and explain how things all started, how they got shields, transporters, and so on. How they made the fedration and met all the races we know now.

MTV hasent played videos since the early 90s so I am supprized it took them this long to jump on the Video game bandwagon.
I have not fully watched the movie that came with the PSP yet. I would do more than play games with my PSP but the memory is still too much for a 1 gig card. So for now its just games.
For thoes that want UMD burners or drives Sony says that its not going to happen...
Why do sales aways have to be better than last year?
Yes its nice if it is, but sometime you just peak out and cant do any better, or maybe its a baner year.
When these copanys complain about sales, saying they are down for X amount of time they are going off of last year or projections. Then when some overhyped game does not do as well they blame it on priates or shortages and dont look at the real causes.
If they get the deal with the MBL I can see EA buying them. Sounds like something Microsoft would do.
I see all these deals as bad for the game industy. Why do they have to try to make things better, just when Sega was close to making a better game EA pulls the rug out from under them, thats just wrong.
My dream used to be to make a company that Microsoft would buy from me for lots of money but now its to make one that EA would buy.
Having TechTV in the name was like having someone on life support, The network was brain dead. I am sad that it is gone but happy that it can now rest in peace.
Maybe the rumors are true and there will be a rebirth of the network or something like it.

On a few older posts I have been saying that it would be great if a console maker released a SDK for everyone.
If Nentendo does this I will waiting in line to buy a Revolution.

Like a year ago I rember reading a /. story about NanoTube batteries they were suppose to go in cell phones first and then move to other things.

I dont think the MPAA could run the tracker or seed the file, if they did they would be supporting the download as being leagal

I dont play 24/7 so the highest player I have is a lvl 30. So the lack of monthly content is not hurting me. I am sure there are many more like me.
Now for the servers, they do seem to be down alot, keep them up and lag down and I will be happy. I am 90% happy now.
And manybe work on the honor thing somemore, Its not honorable to gank low lvl players doing there quests.
Looks like a good mmorpg for the wife, but I am not sure if that is a good thing. LOL
I get OXM too, and its not bad. However they do seem to uprate some games. Example Halo 2.

I saw it from day one too. If I really want to play games my Gameboy SP does fine. I dont need an over priced phone to do it.
I learned my lesson from the first palm phone it was over $500 and a few months later when I left that service provider the phone was useless.
I watch all the shows I download and recored them on my tivo.
