Ever measured the standby current? I did on a 28"crt sony tv and couldn't even get a reading, so it was less than 0.05W, a panachronic 28" crt tv was 1W.
I wondered what the hell was causing today's havoc. I work at the local multiplex and it was just crazy all shift, queues right round the block. People were coming in saying "Tickets for _anything_, hurry, hurry! Keep the change!" and throwing handfuls of money at the till. We had to call for a security van to take the sacks of money away before they filled the whole office.
the public don't support these measures, but the public is not consulted. At election time your choice is between different asshats. No matter who you vote for, the government get in, and the government is not on your side.
Lol, i did the update and it broke standalone gps mapping. I was also unimpressed that i had to use a specific update of xp to run the updater. Oh, and it lost all my settings (would have been forgivable if the nokia save/restore function had actually restored _everything_, or if the dickheads allowed one to do one's own backup/restore by opening up _all_ the phone's memory). Nokia for the fail. Good hardware though.
In my experience, phones that have flash are running an out-of-date version that is next to useless. Most recently my n95, which also sucked in several other ways.
Jeez, I am glad i don't have to run fricking outlook, word or excel. I would rather go back to telegrams, tip-ex and a slide rule since these would actually be sufficient to cope with 99.99% of the things that outlook/word/excel are used for in business.
If only the targetting was perfect, cheap bastards like me wouldn't have to watch any ads as we buy the same white label crap every week and the margins wouldn't support advertising.
Pfft, the fact Carter is a minister suggests Carter is corrupt to the core and is putting his personal agenda above the health of the country's economy.
I would suggest they put this on the back burner and concentrate on fixing some of the obvious faults in their bloody handsets, such as getting the 'cancel' button to actually cancel the web browsing which has been triggered by the accidental pressing of the 'web' key (which is placed in the corner of the keypad).
Pfft, more like 'Holy crap, this thing is fast! It boots in minutes, not hours! But where is the dna scanner that tells the government who the operator is?'.
Well put.
I would like to add 'Fuck Apple. Fuck them up their stupid assholes'.
Neato! And xpdf is already installed on this machine, but i only used the viewer :-)
You learn something new every day when you are a thick git!
Thank you, Rufus.
I agree with your sentiment, but don't expect anything so sensible to occur.
Fair enough, here you are.
Law : OMG, j00 pwnt a lot of boxes!!!! That is a really serious offence, with the huge fines and the long time in prisons!!!!!!!!11111eleven
BBC : But I are a corporation!
Law : OK, case dismissed. Next case.
I hate pdf. Is there anything that can prise the text out of them yet?
It would depend upon the thermal mass and conduction of the connector. I have a 3kw kettle and have no problem holding it while it heats the water.
Spiderman? Is that you?

Hoof Hearted!
So the internet is basically a series of Benjamin Franklins?

To be blunt, yes!
Aw jeez, now i need to get another fuse for my sarcasm-o-meter!
I think it would have to be a big reserve tank of water to lower you safely from 100 foot up.

Is there a joke or reference I am missing in your use of catched for caught?
