    The licence effectively says: if you never ever look at anything this licence covers, then this licence does not apply to you. Sort of like some country having a law that anyone who never sets foot in that country or has any sort of dealings with it, does not have to adhere to that countries laws.

    fourth one is getting your name, and address for statistics and sending out marketing info. Its another way for them to get consumers who slip through by not buying online or using credit cards and the like in stores.

    A card used to rack up shopping points was used against the owner of the card.

    you get some measly shopping vouchers or gifts not worth their value

    and the shop gets to target its market better

    while they log exactly what you buy

    which leads to this guy in this case, being screwed by this opt-in gathered infomation.

    Makes pulling out those loyalty cards out of your wallet so encouraging huh?
