This can't be right. The RIAA told me in my latest session, where I get hooked up to this machine.... with electrodes and stuff.... it shocks me:(... that only mass-marketed artists are successes, and that the internet gives you herpes.
That is a great, cheap DVD player. I've run into a couple that are a bit noisy, though. Wonderful for downloading directly off torrent and burning to DVD for the woman, cutting out the whole re-encode to Mpeg-II step.
The only time I have ever been to an orbitz site was when visiting ESPN.com (quite possibly the most crap-laden major site on the internet - you have to download 3 megs to get to the 4k story) using IE. I know them as nothing more than pop-ups.
I've always wondered how people get such decent signals with those cards, though. I mean, do they take their computers on the roof ? Are they near the top of a 20-story apartment building ? I need to put a full antenna on the roof and run the coax down to get a good signal, and I'm only 10 miles from Center city, philadelphia.
Funny thing about capture cards. Capture cards with component or HDMI inputs don't exist for a PC as far as I have been able to find (outputs, yes - inputs, no). From what I remember, this is because of massive network/corporate influence - ie. corporate interests don't want a PC that could receive true HD video from an outside source ( like my HD tivo ). If you can find a true HD capture card (not just a tuner), please link me to it. I'd love to get one.

You need to make it clear that this is a one-shot deal. Future problems are unrelated. I've had people who I've built computers for come back to me a year later with the story "The computer was working fine, then there was the huge lightning storm, but I left the computer on. The next day it didn't work !! You suck at making computers !". That's tough. I told you about surge protectors.
Macrovision has never been an issue on ripped/copied DVDs. DVDDecrypter and other programs strip it by default.
now, on my PURCHASED dvds (Futurama ESPECIALLY, @$40 X 4), Macrovision is a nightmare. The colors brighten and darken wildly on several tvs I have. I had to buy a Macro scrubber so I could watch my legally purchased DVDs. HOW does this help *anyone* ?
If you'd watched the episode, you would have seen a creepy, bizarre story, including the introduction of a weird, starless region of space. it was quite worth watching. "Another transporter episode" ? That's like complaining damn, ANOTHER episode involving starfleet!
