As other people have posted, this is just how the apple mouse is designed. Myself, I've never had a problem with accidental clicking while resting my palm or regular use, but I have an awful habit of tapping my fingers non-stop when they are not in use. No problems with my Logitech optical at home, but whenever I'm at work on the Mac I'm accidentally double-clicking like crazy.
I'll finally be able to build that transistor grill I've always wanted. Reminds me of back in High School when we would try to cook things on bare 486 DX2 chips. The cookies came out ok I guess...
Well if you wanted all the Windows goodies (spyware/adware/trojans/worms etc) preinstalled, you'd be looking at roughly 40 or so CD's.
But seriously, I don't hate MS Windows. I love all that stuff!
Actually, yes, you can. UT2004 has a linux version available (I think the binaries come on the Windows CDs, I know they did on 2003) and Warcraft III runs great via WineX, available at www.transgaming.com. Check out their list of compatible games, you may be surprised at how many of your Windows games will run in Linux.
I can see this happening. The ease of administration creates lower cost, and Gentoo is the most flexible and pleasant distro I've dealt with. But, then again, I've never used Debian.
If you or anyone can sensibly, and without "an act of god", explain those questions then I will personally eat the entire Ark when it is excavated. That's right, I will fly to Turkey, climb the mountain and eat the whole Ark. I'll send photos to SlashDot as proof.
I've never played Call of Duty, but if I remember correctly, there were a lot of scenes in Medal of Honor that seemed like they were straight out of Saving Private Ryan. It was awesome.
All I wanna know is if my Long Sword of Penetration +5 will go through it? I paid a ton of gold pieces for it and I don't want the thing becoming obsolete already.
It's been taking me some time to get through quicksilver. It is kinda dull in my opinion, though I think it's because I am always comparing it to Cryptonomicon.

I think I need help...
Or a new mouse.
Or, you could just short the clear CMOS jumper?
I'm pretty sure they would happen simultaneously.

It sucks to be Microsoft knowing you are the #1 target for these people. I wish they didn't make it so easy...
I think hunting down IE users for sport is a bit of overkill, don't you?
You're either with us or against us. Now prepare for the hunt!
it will be interesting to see how it is disassembled and twisted by the SCO lawyers
I wanna see Darl McBride dissasembled and twisted by IBM lawyers.
It's about time we see the GPL tested in court. We shall soon see how legally binding it really is.
No I can not turn rocks, dirt, and dog feces from my yard into a computer.
Amateur...
I dunno if I'd trust a guy that regularly gets kicked in the head for sport.
you're new around here aren't you
I watched it on CNN. According to Dick Rutan, the rocket did shut down prematurely, but they still made it to the 100km mark.
I would have used the keyboard instead of a baseball bat. Would have been sooo much cooler with keys flying everywhere with every strike.

After about a month and a half I just finished compiling 2004.0.

You selfish bastard! You better share!

Privately finances, builds & launches a spaceship, able to carry three people to 100 kilometers (62.5 miles)
Returns safely to Earth
Repeats the launch with the same ship within 2 weeks
Xcor is not competing for the $10 million prize...
"To make money has always been our goal," he said.
If they're in it for the money, wouldn't it make sense to compete for the X-Prize, while they're at it?
It seems the publicity of winning would help their business, not to mention 10 million bucks in the pocket ain't bad.

Back off man, He's a scientist!

I was commenting on the lack of activity in this thread, not the actual article. Sorry for the poor choice of words.
