My Citbank has such a card. I can decide for myself how much I want the card to be worth with a minimum of 1 EUR and the card is valid for 2 months.
It generates a new number, the limit, valid from tru, a cvv2 number and the account holders name. This is for www.citibank.be. No idea why not more banks do this.
I use a new number for each online purchase that I do. The worst that can happen is that the goods are not deliverd and I loose the amount I payed. However I am not worried wether someone in Georgia (no matter what country) steals my creditcard details and that is most often the highest risk.
The first version of Win95 came without IE. These were both the normal and the a(lowercase) version. The A, B and later C did have (different versions) of Internet Explorer. source
Basicaly it is a bunch of groups of lights that go on and off individually. The first time I saw something like this a few years ago it was impressive. Now it is just another one.
It would be more impressive if he were realy steering each light individualy and thus making his whole house a screen. The real chalange would be to have more then one angle in which it looks great (no just good). This would mean some weeks or months of 3d modelling first to see how it works.
The obvious next step whould be a connection to the Internet, although a repeating message with "Fuck Global Warming" would be also apropriate.
Some other lights here from 2005 and although in one colour, better then the one now posted
Here also something that looks better and is from 2006. A last one is here.
Do not forget that books from the middle ages where not printed on the same paper we have now, which leaves us with much more time to copy it, if we so desire. Paperbacks are not something that will survive that long.
OTOH there a a lot more of them, so the chances of one or more surviving for a longer time is also larger.
I have already seen shows where people are hired to brak into houses and buildings and then 'steal' things. The people get a new burglarproof house, which is then also tested.
Probably this will follow the same format, but include other techniques as well.
What people do not realize is that with the world of spam, people hardly ever target one premisis and then see what the best opportunity is, but rather look for the best opportunity and then see to what premesis it is connected.
I would like it realy realy much if you would use Microsoft one, because that would help my cause much better. As we have a history together, I am sure you will do this.
O. B. Laden
Then IF they select for Microsoft you can suddenly 'produce' the email/letter and those who choose for Microsoft will be send to Guantanamo and be an example for the rest of the USofA.
And they will sue anybody who will break those laws.
Jezus must be happy not to live now, because He would be considerd a terorist by walking on water. I just can see it now "Hey, we have one more bearded guy from the middle east for Guantanamo!"
Well, the people who sufferd will have learned some valuable lessons: 1) Do not install anything anymore once a system is running and you have critical data on it. 2) Backup 3) Be able to restore that backup
To me it is comparable to changing a tire. If you are not able to do that, you should not even be given a driving licence.
I do not use either. One of the reasons I went from Windows to Linux was that is hated the way it looked.
I first went to Enlightenment! and then to WindowMaker.
I just can not understaqnd people who want to have something that is windows not made by Microsoft. Microsoft is the best maker of Windows. If you want Windows, run Windows.
If tghhey actualy would do that, each and every provider will be out of business. Just surfing will be infringing up a copyright. You downloaded the picture, after all.
To see how stupid this is, do a traceroute to all the people sharing your favorite distribution. All those providers where you went trhough will be out of business.
It's people. Source code is made out of people! They're making our source out of people. Next thing they'll be breeding us like cattle for code. You've gotta tell them. You've gotta tell them!

Yeah and with the PATRIOT act, you do not even need to log in. People just can contact you like that to, uhm, verify your claim.
Hey, with Echalon, you do not even need such a website as they already know.

How many countries require closed format by law? I would say a lot less then there are laws that require open formats.
Shares are only worth what the fool is willing to give for it.
If you want it to be, yes.
13) Download a Linux distribution and repeat the process in a virtual manager like Parallels or VMware

In the short term, there will not be realy much change, I asume, but in the long term there will be.
Also everybdoy will be thinking about word, but I am also thinking about Excel sheets and all the scripting that goes with it very often.
After recieving the messages, they have edited their intel to mostly harmless.

Do you have a URL?
Too late to send an apology. They should have NEVER send the letter in the first place.
It blew up in their face, this time, but how many times has it worked?
That is what God did when he send us a Tsunami that killed a few hundred thousand.
I think that should be the default.

No, the fact that very soon YOU can't hide anything from the public.
