they are not alone with their bogus fee's, any place where you get a 'detailed' bill will have some admin costs in some form or other that is just really vague and could be anything. it's also always on the bill, no matter what service you used, depending on who is behind the counter you get different answers on what it actually is.
the number one security issue on any platform is the user. even after all these years, after every incident like this, it's mentioned not to do this kind of thing. still it happens again and again and again... and will keep happening for ever.
obviously this is where we are going. not screenless, but at least touchscreenless. just take those alexa or google home things, slim them way down and slap a screen on it. you basically have your voice controlled phone.
why do they keep shipping garbage (not just plastic, but everything) to the other side of the world? we know how to recycle ALL THESE THINGS! it's a solved problem, for years. i get that it is cheaper, but it doesn't solve anything, the garbage is still there, how short-sighted must you be not to realise that? It's only cheaper now, it will be more expensive to deal with it later.
well, as you suggest in the subject, it probably is china. makes sense; tesla doesn't have a factory there yet, but china wants to compete with/copy tesla.
Face it folks, Microsoft is no longer the biggest threat to your digitial rights.
except that windows spies on you, and there is no reason to believe MS doesn't spy on you with their web based services (bing, linkedin, hotmail, (soon) github(?),...)
It is horrible, and the worst thing is that you never find something back because the search engine is useless. Can't count the times when i said - oh, but this was on fb/g+/twitter - to never find it back again.
DevOps is not about devs doing ops work, it's not about a dev installing a server, setting up firewall rules by hand with iptables and managing the disks on the server. It's about enabling devs to do their work without depending on ops, among other things. The whole devops movement is based on the CLAMS model, where the 'C' stands for Culture, and it is an important part, because without a change in mindset, you will mostly never succeed on implementing devops. It's also the most difficult thing to do, changing peoples mindset takes a long time.
it doesn't have to be, the platform could be intelligent in a way that it would reduce the quality of gfx/sfx/... dependin on the device it is running on. much like the switch degrades to 720 when it is in handheld mode, but goes to 1080 when docked.
an exploit a day? they've been awefully quit about it, all big vulnerabilities on windows i read about are found by other teams outside MS. right now, i got the impression Google is doing a better job finding vuls in Windows, and i can assume the 'red team' has access to the source code!
you have old people who have nothing else to do but watch tv (they watch anything, it doesn't matter what it is) and young people, who just turn on the tv, but don't really watch it.
a lawsuit and they are required to disable the functionality, or whatever reason. it's not as if new versions of software never had features removed. they only need to hire a former gnome dev and suddenly you'll be left with only one button to press.

have they lost all common sense, that they need to discuss this? they can't figure it out on their own?
i think the real reason for this meeting is something very, very different (in their advantage).
Does this result argue for wider adoption of Netflix's H.R. model
I hope not, even netflix, even though best in class, still has a burn-out rate of almost 40%, that is still way to high!
drinking from a plastic cup can get you 3 months in jail, all the while nothing much is done about the rape problem they have.

i'm sure it will be as secure as the keyless systems they have in place now.

X won't kill people unless people want them to kill other people.
replace X with; guns, knifes, cars, cyanide, ...
i have a great hack to hack all these invalid hacks of the work hack.
simple, just hack the hack out of it, even a hacker could do it!
it means the meditation is working! this studie confirms it is not just a fad and actually does what it is supposed to do.

Wish they just emulated the AmigaOS API so you didn't have to faff with it.

You can upgrade for free to SteamOS!
they have all the knowledge they need, right there, in nigeria.
excel is being used for everything you can imagine, it's crazy.

Google does all those things too, they don't just do 'ads'. ...
ChromeOS/Android, google cloud, chromecast, chromebooks, phones, speaker-spy-devices,
you have old people who have nothing else to do but watch tv (they watch anything, it doesn't matter what it is)
and young people, who just turn on the tv, but don't really watch it.
that is how (traditional) tv is watched today.
Really, are you serious?
And why would anyone in Tesla do that?
