    check out lineageOS, it will probably support your phone longer then they will continue to work.
    my s4 mini is still running fine, getting updates all the time. in fact, i don't buy a phone unless i know it's supported by lineageOS for this reason.

    The AI we have today isn't real AI as we have in scifi, but imagine we ever get to that point and humans start acting this way. Can you blame the AI for wanting to fight back?

    the money would have been in great tools to create flash content.
    content tools is something adobe is supposably good at.

  10. I hate how the industry forced us into using browsers as management utilities, and got rid of the solidly working dedicated applications that worked well before under the guise of, "Now you can easily manage xyz from any workstation and no installation necessary!!".

    i don't, the problem is that so many were using flash, or active x, or IE specific bs, or a crazy browser plugin only for this thing that works only on windows xp, or java 1.5.something, or a combination of all of these.
    if they were REAL web application, there wouldn't be a problem. Now they were just the same as before - all different, badly written, applications with way to specific requirements, so it never worked for everybody.

    we don't know, some say it will create so much more jobs that we'll have to create AI to fill them all.
    others say nobody will need to (or will be able to) work anymore and that we quickly need basic income plans before all of society crashes.

    nobody is going to invest in developing gigantic improved diesel engines now, it's almost impossible to adhere to the current emission rules and diesel engines are already complex enough without adding extra bits and bolts on them for better results.

    in EU, some countries are very worried about mass EV adoption because they have calculated the electrical grid couldn't handle it.

    Same thing for arming teachers, what are they going to do?

    this will result in only more people getting shot, most of them innocent because of 'accidental' shootings.
    it's what you see with the police force as well, every day there is a new video of somebody getting killed by police even though they didn't do anything to warant it. the cops are either trigger happy or afraid. some for those teachers who will grab and shoot their gun at some kids who's a bit 'difficult'.

    1. you back out yourself and hit a wall/car/person
    2. your car doesn't allow you to back out and you get hit in the front

    none of these is good, both are an accident, but i think it will differ in who is to blame. in 1 you are to blame, in 2 the other party is to blame.

    If so, what is the point? TV is rubbish, too many ads, show play when i can't watch them, can't binge series, too many bad shows/realitytv, ...
