Did he wear the jean continually for 15 moths, or did he take them off daily?
Where were they stored when not in use? This experiment can only be valid if they were stored nightly, scrunched up in a ball on the floor of an un vacuumed dorm room.

Actually one of the real underlying problems is overpopulation. The other problem is a lack of organization amongst the environmentalists. Ask a random person and they will agree with your position Kim. However, the people who get heard the most are the people who scream the loudest. The people who scream the loudest are usually the most radical. If you watch any of the shows on the discovery channel, or thew national geographic channel, some of them actually advocate that the world would be better off without humanity. This leads me to believe that the real goal is not to clean up then environment, but to clean up humanity. If there are less people, we will use less resources, and their will be less pollution. As for Al Gore, I have no respect for a man that will not debate anyone. One interesting thing to be aware of is who owns what for land, and what side of the political coin the fall on.

than the amount that was spent by consumers, who both support these candidates and the RIAA.

The only way anyone can know for sure is to perform a full audit on the RIAA, and then publish it,

Windows has always been a guest OS - on top of DOS. =) The biggest problem I have with M$ and security is the required reboots after updating. You have no choice in this, if you don't you are nagged to death by the OS or worse rebooted forcibly. The other issue I have is with automatic updates checking for new updates everytime you boot. This goes not just of Windows but for Norton as well. if you are dilligent you can get away turning these off, and updating once a week manually, but for the common user their systems are turned into bricks for the first five minutes of use, because you have X number of programs phoning home, on a network connection that hasn't even come up. I know you can schedule times for updates, but if you miss that time, it checks as soon as you boot. add this, plus the spyware you find on a lot of systems, and you get frustration.

I just bought the who's next album on Itunes. 16 tracks cost $9.99 when bought together. or I could buy each track individually at $.99. Doing the math, by buying the whole album I bought each track at $.63 cents. $9.99/16 songs = $.624 per song. I saved .38 cents on each song. Also since it is in apple lossless, I get to burn a CD for my collection. all I'm missing is the artwork. I didn't have to leave my chair, didn't have to start the car and use gas (which can be factored into the overall cost of buying an album). before that I bought. The album costs $12-$14 in most stores. which at its worst would be $.875 per song. I'm not pirating, and yet I saved money. I wonder why small stores are going away. it sucks but times are changing.
