Is anything new when it comes to art and tek-neek?

One of my favourite Orbital tracks is one called "Tootled", it's a remix of seven Tool songs with wonderful results. Fascinating to listen to, esp if you know the original tracks.
I hear ya boys. Being 12' tall has made it almost impossible for me to survive in the modern world. Sure I've got a two foot penis, but it's not worth it when I can't get out of my house.
I also have all of these files on my second last install, still residing on my backup drive. I've never installed Kazaa, main folder has an install date of Nov, 13, 01..........I don't remember what I was doing that day. Consider it all deleted.
I encourage you to do the things that you enjoy in life, but always in moderation. I've found that the occasional cigarette is very enjoyable, but no longer smoke a pack a day. Life is for enjoying, but not for gluttony and over-doing it.
I entirely agree with you about subway's new cut. ALthough the wonderful thing is that most of the time they'll do the old cut if you ask for it. Although I have to think that at some point we'll have run out of Subway staff members who remember the old cut and then what shall we do?
Promise me that you don't take care of any important data. If you're intrigued, read up a little more about the compact disc. It's not an impossible mystery, read only by magical "lasers". It is quite convenient to read the data by laser, but it is still physically there and quite readily read by anyone willing to put in the effort.
Wow, the internet was invented in 1995? Wonder where my email came from before then? Must have been from that other world-wide network of computers sharing information since the late sixties.
The damage done by having a boy band or any recognizable figure in a movie based around a universe, as Star Wars is, is that recognizing them draws you out of that universe and back into the real world. This would be true whether the reaction you have toward the person is negative or positive. As an example, I found it quite bothersome to see the "E.T.'s" in the Senate scene of Ep 1. I liked ET as a child, but it took my mind out of the Star Wars plane that it was dwelling in at the time.
...but my major love of/. back in the day was that people who knew a little bit about the topic would chip in and we'd all learn more. My problem with/. today is that every jerkass with a wisecrack speaks up. Please Taco, we need a dumbass filter, now more than ever.
I expect that my comment will be modded down, as it is entirely offtopic, but I pray, with/. in mind that the parent gets modded down first and that others cry out against the idiocy that is running rampant on our beloved site.
Perhaps we should have two sections to every story, a 'for play' section and a 'for real' section where those that are informed can spread the knowledge.
I was stunned to read that you thought that people on Slashdot might be a cut above anything. I must ask sir, that you please note the lack of substance, decency, and grammar in most Slashdot posts. Trolls such as yours are rampant, we are truly a sad lot.
One of the real bothers for me about Moz is that no one really seems to be writing themes for it. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I've only found a few here and there and none of them seem to take the concept very far.
Actually that was sarcasm, although misplaced and very tactlessly used. You understand irony about as depply as Alanis Morrisette. Oh, and ease up on the female bashing too.
I can understand how one might think that CNN would have the ability to pick and choose what they show, certainly that is true, but do realize that this did happen and that it would have have been unethical of any news organization to not cover it.
Every time I fill out any kind of registration for crap that I don't want to get actual email about I put in hemos@slashdot.org. I don't even remember why, I think Hemos pissed me off at some point about something mundane and it just stuck in my mind. I'm thinking that dave@dave.com gets a lot because of me too.
It is plus 2 because in the past Mr. Isaacs has either proven himself to be insightful, funny, or a Karma whore. Someday you too may post at plus two as he and I do.
I noticed while browsing through the ExoticPC website that they have Penguin cases. Very slick.

Cool thing is that it works with an optical mouse, although you don't get to roll a ball.

If anyone in nearby solar systems is making as much noise in space as we are would we be able to hear it?
How far are we detectable?
If anyone out there is doing things similar to those that we do should we be hearing them?
Almost a great correction, but you forgot the html, genius:

Now run along before you are destroyed.

Is it really better.........?
SO many people out there don't realize that KMFDM sucks.

The world is not out to get you.
Dude, my 486 @ 66mhz is fast enough to play mp3's. Also note that Mp3 is a file format and not an application.
Nah.

Perhaps you mean referendi?
or maybe, 'instantly acccross the nation'.
