Yes. I'm sad that the next Zelda doesn't use the cel-shaded style like Wind Waker did. It was unique. It was awesome. It just worked. I can honestly say that it was easier to believe in the Wind Waker world than the Ocarina of Time world because it looked so damn good.
WoP would definitely benefit from this. This mod (total conversion?) is one of the best out there. As you said, though, it's a shame that no one plays it.
I'm not. I've installed it on four separate machines, three running WinXP Pro and one running WinXP Home. I install both the base game and the expansion pack. Boot it up, plays like a charm. Battle.net, simgle-player, LAN, everything.
It plays fine in Windows XP. I've played it at many a LAN Party with no problems. The game is still wildly popular. And for $10 at BestBuy for both the original game AND the expansion pack, how can you go wrong?
I play both FFXI (just got back into it after a year long hiatus) and PSO. I can honestly say, I have lots of fun playing PSO because I'm not always competing with the other players for the rare items. If I want to look for a rare item, I'll make a closed game. The community is usually pretty nice, too.
They're really robots. They want us to die off, slowly (so as to not introduce any suspicions), and they will then create the perfect world where human sexual activities are a laughable act and will be comidied on their futuristic television sets. But factories that make baby robots will not be allowed in video games. Or else the conservative robot politcians will go berserk.
How did they screw us? The content is not accessible unless you intentionally violate the Terms of Service. Just because you don't directly modify game code does NOT mean you are not modifying the game. A simple file swap here or there, and BAM! OMG PIXELATED CLOTHED BOOBIES!!!1~!
Sure, Rockstar was wrong to keep the minigame in there, but they aren't the only company that leave things in the game that they have disabled access to. In Rockstar's other game, Max Payne 2, you can turn on developer mode to access the console, then switch your player model for a TOTALLY NUDE model of Mona Sax. Now THAT does NOT require ANY modification to ANY game files. It doesn't break the TOS. AND NO ONE HAS ISSUED AN INVESTIGATION BECAUSE OF IT. That probably just means that Max Payne isn't as popular as GTA, but whatever. Double standards rock, don't they?
Stuff can be installed automatically under IE (or so I've experienced), but under Firefox, you MUST click INSTALL to install the plugin. If you don't click it, then it's not there. I've actually had a few site try to trick me into installing malicious plugins, but I just hit "cancel" and I was fine.
THAT'S why Firefox is still more secure. Because the USER HAS to hit install in order to install the software. I can't open a firefox window and find myself with a brand new spyware search bar. It can't happen.
I have several copies of Office '97 laying around my house. Infact, before I found out about OpenOffice, it was the only office program I used. There is no reason to upgrade to Office XP if you have '97.
Either it does, or it doesn't. Anything's fifty percent. Either I win the lottery, or I don't. Either I find that uber rare weapon in some random MMORPG, or I don't.
The Rev will be terribly underpowered compared to the PS3 and Xbox2's hyped statistics, not the real ones. The three machines will probably be EXTREMELY close in performance.
I agree with your main statement, though. I just picked up Red Alert 2 for the PC and it is a blast to play. Graphics? It doesn't even use the graphics card! But the gameplay is freaking amazing. I love it. My brother stil plays Quake2 to this day. Of course he plays a mod, but the basic idea is there, if the gameplay is great, fucking screw the graphics.
Mario Kart DS (online), Metroid Prime Hunters (most likely online)... Um... Those are the two multiplayer games I'm excited for that are coming out this year. There's also a Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles in the work (if you recall correctly, this was a VERY multiplayer oriented game on the Gamecube, just executed pretty poorly).
You can plug a two button mouse into a Mac, and you can plug that ever so sleek one button Mac mouse into a PC. I doubt the architecture change will cause Apple to start shipping two button mice. That's one of the stupidest things ever.
Her. The governor is a her.

The DualShock is a controller, though. It costs, what, $30 at most?

You don't have to lie to make friends. =/

IIRC, you can double-click to center in Google Maps too.
I'm using it just fine on Firefox under Windows, inbetween sporatic bouts of connectivity that is (there's an uber storm going on right now).

And why, exactly, was Electroplankton a "straight flop?" I don't even think it's come out here.
Then they'd bad-mouth it and say how awesome their Ubuntu machine is.
Um. Yup. That's what'd I do. And I'm not even a Linux zealot ^_^

Just think about it. Either something happens or it doesn't. Fifty percent =P

'Tis a shame that this isn't every gamers' mentality... If only more gamers looked beyond graphics and marketing hype...
Ah, bummer. Mario Kart should proove to be good, though.
Has it? Got a link?
Now if they can do that here, that'd be freaking amazing.

That's a problem with ALL laptops, I'm afraid. Whether they have two buttons, or four. Laptop pointing devices suck ass.
