How can that even be remotely possible? Anything and EVERYTHING (no matter how small or big of an event it is) will change SOMETHING in the future. Anyone who thinks any differently needs to go back to school.
If you're having THAT much trouble, just remap your keys on your keyboard. Geez. Or, tell Emacs to substitute another key for the control key, or whatever. I'm sure there's better ways to do this, other than taping children's toys to your keyboard.
Oh comeon, that's ridiculous. If you have to track your spouse, then you have a lot more issues than you might think. Good relationships are built on trust, and if you can't trust the person, then all hope is lost.

"You see, I apply cold temperatures to different parts of my body in three bastings. The third is the most complicated - I ice the terminuses of my lymphatic system. My body heals itself. Look at these hands," he says, opening and closing his fists. "I have no joint pain of any kind!"
Just use a passphrase! You can write out an entire phrase (with spaces and special characters) for Windows passwords. Infact, this post could be used for a passphrase!
Just buy a cheap tape recorder from Wal-Mart, and anytime when you get some creative spark (I assume you want this device to write creatively with), just turn on the recorder, and speak to your hearts content. Then, get home, and transcribe your notes onto your computer.
I doubt that this will ever happen, since we still don't know much, if anything, about how the brain even WORKS, let alone trying to access, copy, and replicate everything our brain stores. I just don't see how this is possible at all...even far in the future.
It sounds like they basically downloaded the source code for Firefox, recompiled it, and then distributed it as something new.
Firefox is Open Source, so this action is perfectly fine. And if you remember, the Mozilla team got the original code for Firefox (the Gecko Engine) from...yes, Netscape!
...until I become a CEO of a large company, so that I can tell other CEO's what to do and think!

...I think that's the realistic price for ANY copy of Windows.
Every single DRM scheme has been cracked before, so what makes Sony think they can outsmart everyone?
