Shouldn't we focus on information being free first, it doesn't hurt to be aware of the possibles danger of a free information society, such as false information injection, however it would be a shame if such a possible danger, not even verified, would stop us from making sure all information is free.
But do you know what a Masterpiece is? Apperenly the Mona Lisa is considered to be a Masterpiece however it is full of flaws, some argue these are intentional but there is no hard proof for that.
Where do you think (democratic)governments come from? groups of people being harrased by minorities and deciding they better stand together, when you take away governments, what will happen is that they will form again, eventually.
I read a peace about some crop cicles in Germany that seemed pretty much the same size as this one and the damages where about EUR500, I'm not sure what a field dos but I can imagine its less than a percent of the total harvest.
You must be misinformed, the GameCube was nearly as powerfull as the xbox, although not as powerfull, I thnik mainly because of the lack of swap option on the HDD that the xbox supported. it was vastly more powerfull than ps2 though.
Toshiba is the major HD-DVD pusher, no they don't have 200GB Blu-Ray drives, You are probably refering to TDK who is working on 200GB Blu-Ray discs, in 8 Layers though.
Please stop comparing this to regular graphic cards, its Quadro chips you need to compere these to, they are engineered with modeling and animation in mind (engineering for some (CAD fashists;))), there fillrate lacks most of the time, although the amount of poly's they push and antialiasing they can do is much more advanced.
I can imagine animation studios would be able to come up with a use for these, I supose they are the "content creators" mentioned...
I think you misunderstand when mentioning other high level instances as alternatives to Molten Core, the issue is high level instances in general, so the only alternative is PVP, that makes two options. And thats just not enough. The Burning Crusade will add another 10 levels of content and some extra content to the current gameplay, but dosn't solve the issue of only having two options after hitting the level cap. and the level cap will be reached... fast. Or will be a grind, not good either.
There isn't much in the sence of lets say, factional politics as in EVE, just to name a thing that might keep a game interesting and compelling besides its core gameplay and content.
"I hope Oblivion on a PSP is hugely reworked to just preserve the essentials (like the Oblivion mobile phone game). Otherwise, mostly due to the excruciatingly slow access times, I view jamming Oblivion into a PSP much as I view cramming a an entire magnum bottle of fine wine up my ass."
I'd rather see them jam Oblivion on a PSP than see you jam a bottle of wine up your ass though, Somehow I doubt there are a lot of people who share your view
Let them die, they are money hungry bastards who overprice there products because they are a fundamental need in this society. Such vital industries need to be government (e.g. by the people for the people) funded and controled. I'm talking about governments like the Swedish one offcource.
And see what Sony will put forward for the PS3 next E3
Seriously, wouldn't it be a good idea to have this type of advertising banned?
I can imagine the average consumer being disapointed with there purchase after viewing such advertisement.
Fake ads done well on the other hand can greatly improve the gameworld, take the GTA series for example, extensive advertisment for things not real, but actualy with real world websites etc. you could even bye shirts with the company logo's on it from Rockstargames

You can buy a PS3 just fine, they lose gaziljions on those things, just don't buy any games for it, or movies... just wait for a mod chip :)
