Large parts of European countries dont have efficient public transportation either, they are government payed, as they should be (although the whole system is slowly going into a privatly run system where unefficient routes are being canceled) Public transport should be a service the government suplies to its citizens to get to where they want to go. (as long as thats a place other people chose to live, but I can see why thats completely silly in the US)

What do you mean with obey the laws of other countries? what law states the government can do whatever it wants to? turning over control from a group of involved companies or whatever to the government of that country doesn't sound very cool to me and I don't see any law abiding in that action. If such a thing would happen here in Holland it would be very controversial, I don't know about the US but I can imagine it would be as well.
A few years back on 9/11 a group of people with twisted interpretations of a certain book destroyed more than just a single plane, I am all for reading political and religious works, some works might require a broader perspective on life before reading them though, and any paranoid/protective government will try to control and monitor any such activity, don't forget that Mein Kampf is banned in most European countries.
And how different is she going to look? isn't the bone structure much more influential than the skin tissue? So won't she look very much like herself anyway? I don't have a mirror near me at the moment, but I can imagine that looking at your own face can give you a clue how much skin tissue can change your look. Try doing some heavy makeup to see if you can change your apperance, I think not.
Maybe there's no lock on the customer yet, but you sugest people switching multiplayer game services, all fine and well, but to wat other game service should they switch? Sony dosn't have anything mentionable really and Nintendo is still to show us aything more than a 56K modem....

If the wiki is wrong you should do something about it, sure any senseble person should take into account that its not (at) all hard facts that's Wikipedia, but people do tend to get there knowledge from it. If you are aware it is wrong on a certain point, do something about it please.
