True, but how many people are actually capable or have the time to find bugs in their operating system and repair them on their own? I certainly don't have the time and I wouldn't trust my skills to fix the windows kernel even if I did have the source.
Parent has been modded down to -1 troll, but he does have a point here. I don't ever recall seeing a post about a new Dell Latitude or Inspiron that runs 0.2 GHz faster than the previous model. I could see posting for an entirely new model, or at least one with a new generation of processor, but why make such a big deal about a minor upgrade?
Clive Cussler wrote an okay (if you're bored at 2am on an airplane) book called 'Atlantis Found' a while back that uses Atlantis/Antarctica as part of the story. I know... who cares.
Come on moderators... why does this guy get a (-1, troll) and the guy who said "you'll have SCO on your ass, you're distributing their code." a few lines down gets a (5, funny)? Mod parent up. His was funnier... and first.
....developed by Microsoft and EDS.
At a cost of $6,943,349,453,234,213,166,784.23. Sorry - I've just never seen anything done cost effectively when EDS was involved.

Will it work as well as that sticker I put on my car gas tank to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions?

Yeah. What he said. I don't want to see another phone on the front page until they make a rotary dial cell phone. Now that would be cool.
I'm pretty certain that Quake III was released for Mac BEFORE it was released for Windows.
No, no, no.... A sledge hammer, a bucket full of gasoline, and a match is the how real men get rid of a disk.
poop water.

now if they could just get them to run on something plentiful like poop or dead flies... yeah, that would rock.
Why'd you have to pick a liberal weenie hippy paper like the NYT? Put it in the NY Post!
NeXT was used heavily in the financial world.

Why can't they both be true at the same time?
Yes. I want to be able to drop my PDA and have it survive, just like the thinkpad can.
Shouldn't they get some indoor plumbing first?
Me too. Then I'm going to go to church with Tom Cruise and John Travolta. Maybe they can loan me the extra money I need to get into heaven.
half of the time I'm almost always pretty close to the correct.
