    Ah! I love technology. I love companies upgrading their product lines because technology gets more and more affordable.

    Now. I'm a big Apple fan... But I think that the iPod is getting quite too popular. I can't go walking without seeing 10 people with it... Ahh!

    And no, I don't have an iPod. It's price is quite too high for my budget.

    ISP: Sympatico (DSL, I've got the 3mbps package) (In Canada, myself in Montreal)
    Rating: 8

    Pros:
    o Great Speeds
    o Great Pings (despite their change of backbones, recently)
    o Good hardware
    o Better than Videotron (the other ISP in Montreal... which is based on Cable)

    Cons:
    o Bad tech support (generic office employees not caring about custommer situations and problems)
    o Some problems with their billing

    I didn't look into details, so it may have been a simple laptop with weird rotating screen.

    Well, it's what ALREADY HAPPENED with the PlayStation 3... The day it came out, lines of people were waiting at stores doorsteps.

    And when it sold out in a few hours, people were buying these units for double of the price!

    Well, how about the graphics in the latest version of SimCity?

    LinCity looks like SimCity classic... Where you can view everything from the sky, not even at an angle!

    Now, compare that to the latest SimCity 4! Now that's what I call candy for the eyes.

    You guys ever heard of a little company called Wacom?
    They make tablets for electronic pens and even made quite some pens for the TablePC.

    Now, each Wacom tablet includes a "wireless" mouse as an extra. That mouse uses no power, but requires to be on the tablet to use it.

    See the connection? (Or is Wacom also using an RDIF-like technology that's discussed in this topic?)

    Just search. You'll get waaay more features than on a PDA. You could install DOS, Windows 3.11 or simply Linux. Easy. Conveniant. Powerful. You use the floppy drive to transfer your documments or even the parralel port!

    Oh come on! There should have been a panorama of inside the citadel. It was my favourite part and it has ammazing design and graphics.

    That panorama itself may be a reason for some people to buy the game... Notably to fans of Science Fiction.

    No offense, I would buy Mac hardware only because of the OS inside it.

    Mac OS is sleek, nice, productive and very stable.

    My Mac-wanabee Gnome desktop doesn't come close!

    I've bought many LCD monitors for my custommers. To tell you the truth, I've noticed no difference in contrast or colors. Everything is cristal clear.

    On the other hand, EMI interface may be causing ghosting or blurring on other monitors. At my school, we have many CRT monitors with ghosting issues.

    I bet you that their Open Source project will just be a part of CherryOS and not the whole application.

    Ìt will ressemvle at a simple SDK so that software developers could somehow use some part of CherryOS.

    If CherryOS was really programmed by XMS (Which I REALLY doubt), then a company would never just abandon a project like that. You don't abandon a program that you've used a lot of time and money to program.
