If you can't get hired in the first year of looking, it makes it even harder to find a job because employers assume there is something wrong with you. I've only worked in a programming position for six months in the past six years I've been out of school. And nooooooo one wants to hire me because of it. I'm not crying myself to sleep though. My family is happy to support me, so I don't need money. I just keep working on my personal projects. Right now I'm wrote a 3d fighter that can have over 1000 people in the same room. I'm considering making it into a 100 level deep dungeon crawl like Angband crossed with a 3d Zelda. Its not easy, but eh, some people aren't lucky enough to get a job in programming.
Correct me if I am wrong, but one definition of evolution is gene change of a species over generations. If this is the case, we have evolution changing depending on social elements and geography. America is a good example of that. It is known as the melting pot because people with different genetic background all migrated to it. Because of this idea alone, we should know that humans will continue to evolve because of wild factors. I mean, what happens when if we get permanent space colonies and something like a warp drive or hyperspace isn't invented? What if nuclear war happens and only pockets of humans survive? It isn't something where we're gaining new mutations and new genes, but gene change definitely occurs.
Castlevania 1's music is great. Castlevania 1 it is a game that if you become good at, you can really flow through the levels. There is something cerebral about great music mixed with great game play. It makes you feel like you're living in a music video or something.
I was once a Blizzard friend from Warcraft 3. I didn't know you could lose Blizzard friend status by not betaing a game(The Frozen Throne). I was busy writing my own MMORPG or I would have betaed TFT better. I was the first to 1500 wins in Warcraft3. I'm worried I won't get into Starcraft 2 beta. I have high hopes for SC2. I want to help beta the game, and I want to later go pro with it too. I'm strong with game balance, and you guys considered me for a game design position for WOW at one point. Can Blizzard give me back my friend status?

And if you have time for a 2nd question: Do you have any original Activision/Blizzard titles under consideration?
Some greens don't even like wind power because it kills the birds. Some even don't like solar because they have a feeling that we'll ruin the deserts. The greens don't seem like they have any specific leader they follow, so they seem to be all over the board in what they think is bad for the world. The sad thing is that nuclear is probably more green than most other power because of the advances we made in the last few decades, but no one can seem to change the image of nuclear to the people... If there was ever the need for public relations for something, I think nuclear could use it. There is no reason some people should have to pay most of their income just to keep warm through the winter.
I can't find a job because I have no experience. That is pretty bad when you first leave college, but after several years companies feel you're unemployable because no one hired you. My only hope for making any income is to create my own profitable software projects.
I caught my breath when I heard it. Then I realized that people like to post sensationalist headlines. If it turns out to be real, I want Martian snow as my screen saver.
The reason I paused development is that no one wants to help me develop a NAT punch through. My game plays fine as long as you're not using your router.
I bring a new thing to the table with my fighter: Up to 1,000 players can fight in the same place, up from the traditional 2. The reason this is cool is that you have new dynamics like FFA, Team attacks, and giving one fighter increased statistics so he is like a boss vs everyone else.
And the only reason I wanted to do a fighter was to put me in a position to make an action paced MMOG.
And the reason I want to make an action based MMOG is that traditional MMOGs make me yawn.
To be honest: I'm at a stand still now. I don't know if I want to finish my fighting game or move on to a math teacher. The math teacher is cool in that most people can sit down behind it and learn math. It has many cool features that will make it the WOW of math teachers. The main difference is that not many people foresaw a computer teaching most levels of math and for it to figure out what math you don't know yet.
It is like... I want to make the game because it will be cool... But I also want to make the math program because it will educate people. Anyway my fighter is at: www.roamingdragon.com but it has no fun demos at the current time.
Do I need to buy a widescreen monitor or can I squeeze my screen with software settings.

You all went to Hollywood Upstairs Medical College too?

Because it is a black box, from all I know: Yes
There needs to be a paper trail that the voter can verify his/her vote was correct.
If you allow them to say static cast votes, they'll be reusing that excuse over and over whenever they're caught rigging an election.

Beating a dead horse is the new mini game replacing destroying the car.

A math program that teaches anyone math regardless of skill level.
Yah that is responsible parenting: You can only smoke your pot at home, so daddy gets a contact buzz.
I'm not a parent, but if I was, I'd have an age when they could get on the Internet. The internet is not a safe place for young kids in my opinion.
That kinda goes with our poll. If I am searching for myself, I should have a tool that finds me.
Sure boycotts work. I don't buy EA games, and as a result I am a happier gamer.
Yep. I quit reading when I saw the thing was split across several pages.
The no child can get ahead act.
If Google wanted, they could launch an e-bay competitor.
I'd mod my own comment down, but I can't mod in a thread where I posted a comment.
Phase 2) Bundle tons of free software with Linux packages
Phase 3) Become dominate OS.
Does Rot 13 count?
That is one minute of my life I'll never get back.
