  1. Thes things are really nice on Silverstone ST30NF 300W Silent PSU reviewed · · Score: 3, Interesting

I have a 500 watt antec phantom in my newest computer, the thing is silent. It does have a fan in the case that the PSU does get too hot, it can cool it off. I have played some pretty high end games, done some 3d rendering and what not, still haven't had the fan turn on, and the PSU hasn't gotten hot. It is nice to know that it's there though. I don't think I would ever buy a powersupply that didn't function like this, as I due value the quiet. I hope they continue to improve on this technology to provide even more powerful PSUs than currently available. (And at a lower cost, because I seem to remember this supply costing a bit more than most other 500w PSUs)

  6. Parents... on Parents Need To Be Informed · · Score: 1

Information on these games should be more readily available than it is. They should understand what they are buying before they do so. Many times I have seen parents buying games for the children when in reality they have no ideas what it is that they are purchasing. These people should be shot. By not using a little intelligence and looking at what they are buying they are causing a large amount of pain for those of us that are old enough/mature enough to play these games. On the other hand, some things get a little out of hand. Speaking exclusively in the case of GTA:SA, the scene made accessable by the "Hot Coffee Mod" isn't quite as bad as many of the other things in this game. First off, everything in the game is animated, it is NOT REAL PEOPLE. Second, which is worse to you? shooting/blowing up cops? or a man having sex with his girlfriend?

It doesn't help that many highschools are canceling their CS programs. I know of two local schools that have done so this year. (Mine being one of them) reason? Budget cuts. Come on Gates, you want to see more interest in CS? Sponsor some schools across the country, paying for their CS programs. The watches do not generate electric power, they have a weight that winds a spring. Mice are not typically moved in only one direction, so you would lose a good bit of energy, also I doubt even if it was moving straight that it would generate enough power for an optical mouse and a transmitter. (Besides the fact that you would still need batteries :) )
