As far as I can tell, all Firefox does is implement the good ideas that Opera develops. So why not reward the guys for their good work?

It's the same reason that I'll neve be truly rich despite how much money I'll make in my life. I'm always giving it away to family and friends who seem to value it more than I do. $1,000 to my mom who only makes $20,000 a year is alot more valuable than it is too me.

It is still the same painting that evokes the same feelings and was done with the intent to entertain, challenge, upset.... the viewer. But if it was down by somebody who is just trying to make a buck, then it would no longer evoke the same feelings. The intent of the artist matters to me.

Child labor does exist in america, it's called farming. It is not unusual for farm kids to work 20 - 40 hrs/week during the school year and 60-80 during the summer. I think it's legal and it happens even if it isn't.

I don't really think there is much wrong with it either, yeah, I hated it as a kid, but it builds character. Props to dad for that ;) Nothing wrong with putting kids to work under some amount of control.
