    start here, i leave the rest as an exercise for the reader...

    A ban on supposedly non-partisan "issue ads" funded by soft money from corporations and labor unions - those referring to candidates for federal election without expressly advocating their election or defeat -- in the 60 days prior to a general election, or 30 days prior to a primary election.

    so once one of those two contribute to your campaign it gets sticky. might get charged with money laundering.

    the money in politics just flow through seperate channels. it is like following ethics rules literally instead of just being ethical because it is the right thing to do.

    as i understand it, the current campaign finace reform limits everyone except the press from making a political statement 30 days prior to an election. that means next time a news station runs a completely false story on a candidate a week prior to election day, the common man (or a citizens group, etc) has no way to counter the story. why do you think it was delayed in taking effect until the next cycle?

    by always trying to screw the 'big evil guy', it invariably trickles down to the little guy who has considerably less power and resources to fight back.

    laws should be based on what is right. it is not right to limit speech. no matter how much money/power a group has. this communcation tool we have is leveling the field...

    i know this is waaaaaaay offtopic but i couldnt help but commenting on your username... ...BushCheney08 implies to me that you think they will buck the system and try to run again as pres/veep. since many times the veep runs for president (elder bush, gore) do you think they might run as cheneybush08? personally i am looking foward to a hillary vs. condi duel.

    my excuse is twofold: i am half your age w/ an infant so i am still naive/idealistic... ...i grew up in a small town and was taught to treat people with respect, otherwise you cant expect it from others.

    i once won a burrito at chipolte for correctly guessing the population of a town - 2. since you mention high school guys i would have to guess around 5000 for your town... :P. i grew up in a small town too. some guys on the football team claimed to have gone out and down it. i think they should have tried tipping the bison...

    i always found that having the americas was key. only three avenues to be attacked from. then you can move into europe or africa while fortifying your position in the americas with bonus troops. just stay out of europe at the start if you want a chance.

    code for "you should think like me." seriously, i despise that phrase, 'think for yourself', have you considered that other people have thought for themselves and reached a different conclusion than you? just because someone disagrees with you doesnt mean they are following the crowd. perhaps you are.

    wasnt galaleo a laughing stock? different ideas are scary... ...i ask the id crowd: 'who designed the designer?'

    i only read the commentary / opinion and the comics in those two (one really) papers. i think all three of those sections are quite critical of politicians. my wife just mentioned an article in today's paper that i read online this morning. i think it is irrelevant for actual news. the only get them for is the sections i mentioned and the coupons. the money i save using coupons more than pays for the paper. even though the price of the paper here in denver skyrocketed when they merged, they still cut deals to get the paper on your front step.

    ummmmmmmmmmmmmm... ..are you writing these books? you are still being *told*, just through another media. i watch nova, tlc, discovery etc. i think that those shows are stirring my imagination. as a result of those shows i have checked out numerous books on ancient peoples, mythology, atronomy etc. blanket statements are bad my friend.

    extremely vocal minority. refer to stories about violent games and tv. only a few thousand poeple out of a couple hundred million involved.

    i bet your buddy doesnt respect your views either because their are rooted in the brain rot which is secular thought. only rich fat guys are religeous? have you heard what the guy who runs iran has been spouting off? he is hardly fat or white.

    And if there's anything I don't trust, it's rich fat white guys.

    seriously, that is like saying you dont trust black people who can read. what can something uncontrollable like skin color or nationality tell you about someones integrity? that statement alone tells me you are ignorant and blinded by hatred. until we can respect each others views and live with our differences, we will never move foward.

    you need to recharge the batteries in the remote with additional diamonds, birthstones, gold, silver, china, etc... just like any other rechargeable battery, the charge is shorter each time...

    depending on the size of your building and your work ethic it can be a great way to waste 10-20 minutes. so go ahead, smell up the restroom near the office of the guy you dislike. at my first office job i worked with a guy who drank a lot of water. that way he would have an excuse to get up and walk around every 30 minutes.

    It just works.

    the last release didnt 'just work' on my notebook. keyboard doesnt always work, -it was funny, i typed my username durig setup then i couldnt type the password!- no wifi, oftentimes compressed files are reported as being empty, system slows the longer it is up. perhaps it is becuase i am using the x64 version. anyway, going to give this new release a shot.

    i am cheap and also picky about music. i havent bought a CD in years, nor have i downloaded anything from p2p in years due to poor quality. if i could buy cheap music and put it on any device i wanted to, i would probably pay to go to more concerts as a result and buy t-shirts, stickers, etc. i think a better system would be to view portable music as the advertising and the concerts as the real product.

    who's seriously going to volunteer to give more money to their state gov?

    listening to all the people complain about bush's tax cuts then roughly half of the population should be giving more money to state and federal coffers. its not like you are being forced to pay less now. i think many people only want higher taxes to screw people they perceive as 'ultra-rich' as my favourite congresswoman calls any family that earns over $85,000 a year. i would call that decently middle class considering that u.s. per capita is about $40k.

    anyway to prove that that those screenshots are legit? sow the seeds of doubt that the RIAA forged the screenshots... IANACS but even if the RIAA had a log showing that they downloaded from this guy, is it hard to forge log files etc? wouldnt they need log from his computer to prove what was uploaded? do these logs even get created by filesharing software?
