For most users *any* platform will do. Be it, Windows, Linux or OS X.
Most users will use the computer for Facebook, Twitter, MSN messenger and such. Unless you are a gamer or absolutely need to run a Windows-Only application, ANY OS will be able to get the job done, Windows being the less secure of them for non-techies.
This is no better than crappy point-and-shoot cameras with removable lenses. Even a low-end DSLR (such as the Canon Rebel) has a much bigger (and better) sensor, not counting the Reflex parts...
Folders are available with a Jailbreak. same with multitasking, backgrounds, and so on. I own a 3G iPhone, and I'm not upgrading to iOS4.
Jailbreaking is click-and-point, last time I did it took 5 minutes on my netbook (with OS 10.5.8), I used pwnage tool on the netbook and flashed the firmware on my PC
1- they are 140$ each, more expensive than a tuner.
2- Since it's a Media Center, the case fits in the living room, so a full height card + that adapter will not fit unless I leave the cover off.
So congratulations indeed
Quebecor, one of the largest media company owns Many papers, about 90% of all stand magazines, a TV network and the largest cable company in the province (Videotron). So when the owner's girlfriend has a new show, it's on cell phones, in all the media, on TV, on the ISP's home page, so on. They can control the information. All the news come from the same source, their own press agency. Even worse, about every of their companies have been/are/will be in a lock-out. Of course, since they own about every media you don't really hear about it.
And to make matters worse, Brian Mulroney (ex canadian PM) sits on the board so lobbying is not too difficult, as if cornering all the media wasn't enough.
Have to agree on Samsung. I have a CLP-315 here, pretty fast for my use, nice print quality and cheaper to run. Haven't used HP for a while, and no more inkjet since the print head in my Brother printer clogged up (even if it cleans it from time to time it found a way to clog the head). I'm still using it as a scanner though.
The C64's video output is S-Video compatible too. Chroma and luma are on two separate pins (except some revisions IIRC). One of their monitors even had separate inputs (1702 I think) for Luma and Chroma.
(as with the 800, you have to wire an adapter to use S-Video on your tv set)
If you mean Magic Mouse, then yes it has inadequate driver support. My el-cheapo Dell has better tracking (and it's not even laser). I have to use something else than the Pref Pane to be able to not have it run like molasses.
On a side note, Why do I have to install a third-party (Magic Prefs) to be able to use the hardware on the mouse? Shouldn't Apple be able to support the features and gestures of their mouse?
it's either the head or the hose for the black ink. every other hose has been emptied by a soaking pad, except the black one (many air bubbles though).
Next (and last) step I'll try will be compressed air through the hose itself.
If it works, fine, if not I'll keep it for the scanner part (because it has a feeder)
Just took it apart, the head is not removable without dismantling everything in the print engine. was able to clean the pad and the head, will try to swap tubes to see if it's jammed where it picks up ink. I already filled an old cartridge with cleaning solution to no avail.
Funny, my Brother printer has a jammed head. I only used original inks, and the worst part is the printer cleans itself from time to time to prevent just that. Now I have to take it apart to try to unclog the head. If it doesn't work, I'll keep it for the scanner part and just use my color laser. But, a laser doesn't print photos as nice as an inkjet.
I was not saying the panels power the defrosters directly. Let's say you use the batteries to heat up the panels, ice slides down, panels don't break and can recharge the batteries. I'm guessing that thing has batteries and was not running on solar power only.
(ie: use a couple of watts from the batteries and let them get recharged by the now de-iced panels)
Just a crazy idea, couldn't have they put defrost wires on the panels? I don't know what the battery capacity is, I'm just wondering if it would have been possible...
if the panels are lowered, just heat them enough so the ice will just slide to the ground.
The difference is the warranty still applies if it breaks. they are *guaranteed* to work at those speeds, often because of a beefier / better cooling and better ram as a previous poster said. I'm using one in one of my machines, and it still works, which can't be said for one of my Sapphires (running at stock speeds).
Any other card *might* be able to run at higher speeds, *might* being the magic word.
Instead of sandboxing the software, couldn't they fix the software so it's not vulnerablerable to so many attack vectors?
and then sandbox it...

Nice one...
As in *S*ingle *L*ens *R*eflex?
This is not a SLR.

CANDU can already use spent fuel (along with dismantled warheads)
(according to wiki)
*CANDU fuel can be manufactured from the used (depleted) uranium found in light water reactor (LWR) spent fuel.*

Besides, it's BSD...
Interface and OS.. Many reasons why I'm running Leopard on my AMD dual core. And I'm keeping my jailbroken iPhone. The interface just works...

wow... thanks for the memories, I remeber playing that game as a kid.

not just high end cards. I have three hardware based tv tuners here (PVR). Replacing them will be around 300$.

You now owe me a new keyboard :)

especially the part where we find out Raiden is actually the Highlander :)

I used to have an HP, got a Brother because the cartridges were much cheaper, even the original ones. Guess I'll stick with the laser then...

So anyone who uses the transporter will end up being mixed up with lead and cheap plastic.
