Wow, thanks a lot for that link! I have been re-compiling my Gentoo installation and I am having a bit of trouble with a certain package right now, so I haven't been able to try MythTV. Thanks a lot for pointing that out.:D
True that people (including myself) are biased against players who talk like "water please thx" (using a LOT of spacing and bad grammar), but do you really want to fuel someone who is breaking the game rules? I personally keep a list of people whom I prove are farmers. (e.g. in Tyr's Hand on World of Warcraft 24/7) I report them every couple of weeks. I have seen a few get banned so far, so I plan to keep it up.
Do you really want a gold farmer in your group who will just ninja any good items that drop and then quit your group? Personally, I think that it is worth it to exclude all non-english speaking people unless approved by one of their english-speaking friends. Let's face it, though, the majority of Chinese players on our servers indeed are farmers. I haven't met a normal playing Chinese person yet. I have met many foriegners (any non-USA or Austrailian players.. which is who our realms serve) and am good friends with a few of them. We just have too many farmers.
A 933MHz PIII with 512MB RAM (even 256MB) would suit most better than 128MB.
1.8GHz (equivalent) is great and all, but did they think about 1.2GHz and 256MB RAM or anything?
And YOU forgot:
"You hit the darkness for 0 points of darkness damage.
You hit the darkness for 0 points of darkness damage.
You hit the darkness for 0 points of darkness damage.
You hit the darkness for 0 points of darkness damage.

Aww, I used suprnova for legal purposes, but I'm sad to see it go...
It was nice advertisement too for some unpopular games that are freely downloadable...

Yep and we have proof of this. On several occasions, their websites have reported that one helped out the other or vice versa assisting with code to get it working again.
It will never pass.
I don't know anyone under 18 (besides people who just don't play computer games) that don't own or have played a non-mature rated game. It just won't happen.
I'd be in big violation of the law if they spread it to South Carolina.
Acutally, we did, for a short time (and even a superbowl commercial) from IBM, but it didn't explain Linux to Joe, it aimed at businesses.
Also, Microsoft probably doesn't care about IE. There isn't any money in it for them. They do, however, care greatly about Linux and OpenOffice.org (probably more so, as Office is their money maker).
For about 6 months, I became victim to a spam system sending out e-mails. They thought my name was "Cxzffadds" or something of the sort.
One day, I was fed up and sick of it (hey, it went to other@clete2.com anyways, so if they still sent it, I just change my spam address) coming to my inbox. I would get 3-5 messages a day or more off of it.
I clicked that unsubscribe link, filled out something, and at the end, it "unsubscribed" me and sent me to a page to fill out something else, trying to trick me into subscribing to a plethora of other spam e-mails.
Luckily, I took note of that before doing anything and now, I am Cxzffadds spam free.
I will never click any unsubscribe links unless I get them 3+ times per day or for months on end.
That's amazing that we have only about 1,000 bugs in the kernel, while most commercial software would have over 100,000 bugs.
Interesting to read the report.
I am taking that into account.
We have saved many more than accidentally killed. They aren't 10 year olds either, though there are probably 10 year olds being trained.
I'm sure we violate patent #230932450982376903467234968723498372498, which is probably the letter 'Q' on the keyboard. No more 'Q' for us, don't even say it once, fellow Linux users.
Yep, patents:(.
Good thing is they don't last forever.
Anyways, is the actual market share of FireFox really at 7%? It could be just like any other survey; errored. Well, if it's true, let's hope Linux follows suit in this pushing down of Microsoft.
Really, there is only one way to go for Microsoft; that is down. They have over 90% of the market. The rest of them are pretty content with their choices. When Microsoft adds in Palladium (NGSCB or whatever they renamed it to), that will be a large fall for them.
Don't laugh at him! I thought the same thing. =(

So... if I can get this running on my Gentoo system, I can compile with my CPU and GPU using a sort of DistCC?
If they like fucking everyone, they will... ...want to fuck themselves
Joy

Scary... I read /. all the time at -1.
I'm eternally scarred now and I think I will change back.

I want my networked razor and networked shaving cream!

That's great, FireFox is soaring. I just hope that Linux will get this kind of press later on. FireFox is all around the news.
Or you could simply network the computers together and copy the files the old-fashioned way :).

Troll. He's saving millions of people in Iraq and Afghanistan. This includes children.
That's my exact thoughts when I first read this.
This guy isn't the lawnchair guy, though, is he? The lawnchair guy was quite drunk. He made it into SimCity 4 too :).

Too bad Gentoo isn't in on it.
