When this happens, then it will be time to get excited about the possibility of finding life outside our own solar system. But this won't happen till the next gen telescopes replace todays' such as the aging Hubble.
Nearly every PC built today uses AGP. PCI is old and slow, should be phased out with existing cards, not by making new cards. Also, with MS Vista coming out, I'd wait a bit and see what compatibility issues arise before buying a new graphics card.
MS should just leave the GUI design alone, just give us a way to modify the GUI ourselves. Some kind GUI Powertoy kit would be the best thing MS could do for us.
