As with all the "Firefox security holes" I have ever seen in my entire life, Firefox enquires "would you like a virus, sir?" while IE just serves it to you on a plate.
Just my 2p. Had to say it.

IT'S BOGEYMAN! Sheesh, why do people get that wrong?!! Even Wikipedia gets it right.
If there were such a thing as a boogieman, he'd be a Disco Stu lookalike, with a bitchin' afro that won't quit the dancefloor.

If more MAFIAA cases made it to court, there'd be more justice. Judges and juries are better than lawyers. I mean morally better, which isn't saying much I know.
You can't criticise Slashdotters for preaching to the choir. The heathens won't come into the church; they're always somewhere else, enjoying themselves.
It's appropriate that it's in Amsterdam - they know all about addiction there. And is it just a coincidence that teh_pwnerer himself was there on the 14th?
This terrifying addiction has been well-documented, in the hard-hitting online drama series Pure Pwnage. http://www.purepwnage.com/episodes.html (Eps 6 & 7)
There's a rather good episode of Dr. Who (with Tom Baker) about The Wirran, in which aliens lay their eggs in a human(+/oid) host. He mentions the appropriate genus of wasp. Alien was ripped from this IMHO.
As was The Matrix - a disgraceful rip of a different Dr. Who series, again starring Tom Baker. But, that's another thread.
Remember Hotblack Desiato in The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy (the radio series / book) spending a year dead for tax reasons?
The best SciFi always comes true.

Makes good music again? You're talking 1970.
You can determine how important/talented each Beatle was by the standard of the work they did AFTER the Beatles broke up. Frog Chorus anyone?
ISPs were never in a legal position to say no to a legit court order.
Seriously, you think they don't do that?
Last post! Finally I got one! Plots Sat! Stop Lats! (This is the kind of thing I'm supposed to say here, isn't it?)

Google - remember that? Those were the days. No wonder they went the way of all the dotcom companies, what with all the billions of dollars they made.
Note to self: must cut down on LSD-flavoured potato chips.
Here's Cringely telling it like it is. Amen to him.
10 years olds, Walter. And: everybody fscks with the RIAA, because a lot of people have got off.

No, the odds are good if you're using IE and/or Outlook Express.

I'd have thought this was the obligatory post: It's too bad she won't live ... ... but then again, who does?
... for a white nerd.
Has Bill Gates turned back into Anakin Skywalker once again?
I for one welcome obscure references that few recognise.

Steve Jobs is Admiral Akbar, Linus is Obi Wan, they can't learn much from each other. Yes, RMS is Yoda.

Yes. I did. He'll restrict the freedom of anyone who buys Vista anyway. Oh, and: in Soviet America, clichéd joke post YOU on message board
