Well, IANAL, but doesn't this somehow interfere with getting out the Truth(tm) and that whole Free Speach(tm) thing that everyone is always getting worked up about? I realize that this may be hurting their business, but if they suck so much that people feel the need to complain, don't they have the right to complain?
I'm a long time GameFAQer and I can honestly tell you that those people who can already spell never use that and those people who are too lazy to type it properly in the first place are too lazy to use it as well.. Connundrum, no?
Can you explain that in layman's talk now? For a moment there I had a "rotational speed of toast" moment as you were talking about "regime of anomalous dispersion, which means the refractive index decreases with increasing wave number."
That they're not calling it pod-viewing (although I assume eventually there will be something similar), videoblogging (although people already use that for other things), or something similar. It's a video om the net and that's all it is!
Which kind of shows that Blizzard isn't all that bad of a company -- running free servers and making up patches years and years after the game has came out. They could be patching against new things as well, some previously undiscovered or until now not massively exploited bug as well.
I'm 18 and I get about 2 emails a week but spend hours talking to people over AIM,IRC,MSN,MUCKs, etc. That's both good and bad, if someone's trying to keep a conversation going over email, I can take my time in replying and IMs have their downfall in that you pretty much have to reply instantenously. Feh.
So, they're using BT to reduce the load on their servers for their promos? So what, it doesn't seem like they're going to be actually using BT as their primary distrubition tool -- they'll still keep going with DVDs and most likely still keep C&D sites that have their content provided by BT.
But not the first elsewhere -- I live in northern minnesota and the local charter schools have been giving students laptops for a long time now. They have to pay for an insurance policy (like $50 a year) and that's about it. Frankly, I like real books, but if e-books could be made available for cheap at the college level it'd be so much better than spending $500 on books a semester.
For a long time user of GameFAQs with numerous accounts banned (like.. 14?.. Long live proxies and Tor), I can say that is a fairly accurate observation. The worst thing, the mods can't take a joke either.
Where from did the bing bang come from?
That's lightsaber(tm)(r)(sm)(c) George Lucas... this is the otherwise generic light saber.
Dude, I've been here longer than you but for some reason, it seems to me that You Must Be New Here.

A bit slow there buddy -- there's already a novel called "Space Porn" that has giant ****ing space ships and by ****ing I mean the act, not the size.

I think it's more of giving a grace period to allow people to update -- in fact, I'm still using 1.0.2.. Ouch.
So much for going to a park now and listening to the musicians playing music there -- after all, they're producing unfair competition!
But I'm too lazy to RTFA =\ Woo, my AMD idles at 60C and peaks at 73C!
