    Not withstanding the plausible argument over granted rights of said bandwidth (2.4ghz), the property owner has changed the terms of the contract the lessee entered into. Most likely the contact allows for changes, but I'm sure it must also provide for due process.

    Secondly, it looks like the uni is trying allocate or license frequency that they aren't primary licensees of (or at least an end run arround of)

    All GPS receivers need to see the birds and most of the external antennas I have seen are fairly obvious. You can't just take a $99 etrek and not give it full sight of the birds. It no workie.

    Sim/provider locked handsets. Buy a GSM phone from many carriers (from experience ATT), fulfill your obligation to the carrier and decide to change. Or, be on vacation and purchase a prepaid SIM. Install the new sim and suprize it no workie! The carrier had decided it was their, not your product.

    There is now a fairly simple work arround to unlock many phones. It's still disengenious.

    Wrong! What you pay for those 5 minimum shares is what the underwriters decide to offer them for. They can take a hint from the "pre auction" but can price it at whatever they want to.

    "That is the same damn price you will pay on etrade the next day." This is the time you can buy at "market price" (at that given time & quanity). If anyone KNEW (market price) we wouldn't need a market! My guess is we see it tank upon close.

    Did not. All the summons did was allow your release of arrest, with your promise to appear to the hearing.

    If you don't sign a ticket you can be held until a hearing is compleated.

    That's why the title has miles at TMU. Any vehicle without an odo that displays miles is marked True Mileage Unknown, unless the odo is replaced by a certified station and and proper docs are provided for the conversion.

    ps.. we call 911's not made for US delivery ROW (rest of world).

    You (geezers) shouldn't be. You recommended keeping code requirements even AFTER the maritime service licensing dropped ALL code requirements. Most clubs I've seen are the same old repeater fools protecting (not developing) the same old shit! Just plain ignorant.

    There are the movers and shakers in the hobby today(they're just not represented by the ARRL).

    This is a right granted AFTER an arrest. Providing your identity to an officer of the law who's doing his job or an investigation isn't (imho) and invasion of privacy or an outragous request.
    OTOH, the rest of the questions, where are you going, what are you doing...ect. Seem to me to be invasive. Then again, you don't want to piss someone off that has a gun. I find that general answers that are polite and non descriptive are the best way to go. Until you're threatned with arrest, then it's time to shut up. At that point there's no communication you can provide that will be to your benefit (and most will be to your detriment).

You see if you have allowed Sunncomm software to be installed and you have NO IDEA what happened, you are the perfect client for the software! You probably allready have Gator installed and all kinds of spyware and you don't know it!

    If you have a judgement its hit the bureau. You are correct that a judgement must be executed, usualy via a levy of property (real or personal), then a sale of said property. A levy is a pain for a constable to do. Most debtors know the levy doesn't grant right of entry to property. OTOH.. Florida is a state where one can garnish wages for civil judgements (the only one I know of).

    Throw in Federal protection of bankruptcy and all the above is out the door!

    "Their differences are ENTIRELY artifical" Haven't played with the ATA raid, but I can assure you the difference between F&W scsi is tangeble. My old MMX 200 with and adaptec 1640 controler was quicker then most of the 400-800 mhz boxes I played with (at that time), and it's NEVER let me down.
    I would never consider building a mission critical server using ATA raid.

    Then again.. I'm an old head.

    AMD produced a cheaper, better product then IBM. I skipped the 486 and had a 386dx40 AMD chip that rocked all my buddies sx25's. Sheesh.. 386 running GeoWorks for the wife (cause it could print MUCH better then the alternatives).
