Here is my serious side. If you have called around and made an attempt and no one knows and says that no one owns it then I think your free to use it. Although if you do go far with the code and start making millions of dollars I think then you have someone claiming a stake in ownership. I know it would be pricey but I would hire a lawyer in this situation and have them hash out the details then at least you know that all would be safe at that point.
yeah and I am an ewmployee of said company under a contract of which my employer paid for said subscription. Therefore even though my name is listed as the end-user my company holds all the rights to me and my subscription. Therefore the V37 is property of the employer and not of the end-user.
Now if I were to purchase the MSDN subscription out of my own pocket then it would be mine. But since I am using a tools that my company paid for and I recieve a free device because of the tools my company pays for then that means the free device is theirs.
Dude you needed to buy Visual Studio.NET 2003 or have a subscription of MSDN in which you recieved Visual Studio.NET 2003 within your subscription time frame. The requirements for recieving the V37 included the serial number from the about Visual Studio.NET 2003 help menu. The whole purpose of getting the V37 was because it came already loaded with the.NET Compact Framework of which you can only develop against with the lastest version of Visual Studio.NET which was 2003. It had nothing to do with making Developers happy it was all about pushing the.NET Compact Framework and getting developers developing applications for their latest edition of Pocket PC which is Windows Mobile 2003.
You would not have these devices without Visual Studio.NET 2003 and so if you didn't purchase VS.NET 2003 or MSDN then you have no rights to the V37.
When I filled out my forms and sent in my reciept I knew full well that my company owned the device. Luckily my company didn't care about them and let us developers keep them.
Are you running VNC as a service or in App mode? We run VNC on servers at work and if we have it set up as a service I can login to the box using VNC as soon as the box reboots...If I have VNC running as APP mode I can only login when the box is logged in as a user then I get kicked out if I log out.
Try running it as a service there is a Administrative tool in the VNC Programs folder that will install it for you.
Our company was vulnerable when Sobig first came out. I got the first e-mail into the company and noticed it was a virus and that it had gotten through our defenses so I went and downloaded the latest dat file for anti-virus for exchange and that particular zip was then getting quarentined. We can't block zips in our company because that is the only alternative to letting our users send exe's and other file extensions that are blocked.
This sounds like a great idea! To bad it will cause kids to download the movie so that they can find all the cheat codes. Because who really notices them in a movie theater after spending somewhere around $30 for two tickets, popcorn, drinks and candy. Oh and don't forget the Nachos with cheese and lots of Jalopenos.
Create a Game Server out of that Linux box you created and then set up a local area network to connect to that server. Then have a party and kill people. One project you can do before that is build your own custom map together and then you can all play it together at the party.
Teaches you Server management, Networking, Building things as a team and being social.

Yeah Bruce Willis is getting old and Ben Afflec is with Jenny and she probably won't let him go any farther then the block.
So does this mean I can sue media giants like Time Warner and NBC for my addiction to information? Where is my check?

God I hope not. I am sure you don't want to fill out your phone number and e-mail address on a server you don't know.
Nt4 servers are still being supported till the end of next year it is only the workstations that are getting pulled now.
Cool...Tank...Load the jump program! Let's test this theory out!
Yes this has definitely been covered a long time ago.
Halo definitely!!!

They are free now but they will cost more in maintenance and training.
