Yeah, I was thinking the same thing as soone as I read that part. Will a provision be made for "extreme circumstances," or the like? Or will someon just say "well, you had 9 months to file this complaint..." and let it slip through the cracks. Heck, 9 months is barely enough time under some circumstances to even tell if an enfriengement was made, let alone prepare all the legal work to start such a process. But, I guess it's a step in the right direction.

I can't comment on the class issues too much, since I didn't play the game all the way through high-level. But considering that this game was a cross-platform venture, I gotta highlight there is a reasonale limit to the number of character models they could use, so reusing the models/effects is not so nit-picky as it would be on a PC, or stand-alone console title.

... A limitaiton such as the one you speak of is not wholly the artisit's fault, nor is it tje fault of technology. It's the designer's fault for being too broad-sighted to see that every single detailed idea he wants cannot be implemented in one game, or too narrow sighted to see how such ideas might be implemented differently, without running into hardware/software/technological issues. It's also known as compromise.

I already thought of this and begain some work on it for a persistant world with the Neverwinter Nights toolset. It's limitations hinders a lot of the more advanced ideas I wanted (interwoven custom-tailored quests), but with osme of the clever things I've seen done with that toolset I'm sure something similar to what I'm thinking is possible.

This fighting game is choc full o' bugs, and many players think it's the bugs that make the game so great. Most of the higher level play revolved around glitches. If anyone's played this before and experienced an unfly mode combo... then yeah... Fun game, though. Once you learn the glitches.

Actually, what I hate even more is the fact that such behavior is actually accepted as the norm, and acknowledged as common behavior in the media. The Media is allowed to push the limits of sexuality to the very edge, talking about all types of sexual positions, showing people having affairs with their coworkers, showing every thing BUT a nipple (Seriously, what's so evil about a nipple?), teenage sex (But let a teenager have sex in real life and it's a tragedy), and just about every other taboo thing you can think of about sex has been done before on TV. Not cable. TV.

So why can the media go so far, but anyone else who isn't in cohoots with government and throwing them their dollors as tribute attacked as evil detroyers of all that is good? Have these politicians ever stopped and LOOKED at what goes on on TV when Janets not showing her boobies?

But games... yeah those things are evil. Gimme a break

Even then, what about issues like input lag. I play a lot of fighting games down to the Framedata (Capcom vs SNK2 roll canceling) and any input lag makes higher level play frustrating. As of now, most wireless controllers behave this way. I hope there's no noticible lag cause of the wireless signal on next gen controllers, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. I seriously doubt the console developers have these type of issues as a priority when they design their controlers.
