Just how is PFC Manning a patriot? He violated orders and regulations, and he allegedly divulged classified materiel to which he had no need to know, nor right to access. If he was working in Baghdad he had no reason to be downloading shit about Afghanistan. He put the lives of many good people (and some bad) in jeopardy. Perhaps we should refer to him as an alleged patriot and alleged traitor, alleged moniker to remain until he sees his day in court. Meanwhile, the idiots who couldn't deploy access controls to prevent bulk downloading ought to be held as accountable as he should be.

Really unlikely. For one, Iran doesn't want war.

Really? Their wacko PM calls for the destruction of Israel and the coming of the Mahdi, which according the Shi'a lore can only happen and the end of days (or whatever armageddon is called). Rank-and-file Persians might not war, but it seems the official policy of the government is one of bellicosity. Meanwhile, they are engaged in an apparent proxy war against the US et al in Iraq and Afghanistan, and appear to be the puppetmasters behind Hezbollah in rocket attacks against Israel.

If Square Enix wanted to fix the game engine, they should just throw the entire thing out and license Unreal or another game engine. Their current engine is hopeless. But it's the whole "not invented here" thing taking over, so we'll never see a capable PC game from them.
Umm...not a Square Enix fanboy, but Just Cause 2 is made by them and seems to run fine on a PC...as does alt-tabbing. Perhaps they are using a different engine (don't know for sure) for JC2, but have found it largely glitch free aside from an occasional invisible wall GPU glitch.

To those in this thread who are complaining about this: sorry but get with the program. I've lost a good friend and a family member to separate DWI incidents (caused by others), along with some asshole illegal alien on his 4th DWI plowing into my car at a red light. Do these things blow? Yes (figuratively and literally), but that's the bloody point. Keep these assholes who are liable to drink again (or in some cases deliberately "game" the system) off the road. Is it intrusive on civil rights? No - because you have no fscking right to drive (show me that in the Constitution)...it's a privilege, which you forfeit if you get drunk and stupid and then go driving. Do mistakes happen and people screw up? Yes. Will the screw up again? Some will...this is the purpose of this annoying thing you have to blow in. Yes, I drink. Drinking 18 yo single malt as I type this...but not going for a drive later. If I need to go somewhere, use a friend or a cab!
