At the base I spent most of my time at in the USAF, there were a number of doctors and 2 PA's on the hospital staff. Both the PA's started as medical corpsman in Vietnam. You definitely wanted to be seen by them over most of the doctors.
One of the reasons it's so bad is the way it takes the characters you've come to know and love, and puts them in a situation where they don't act like themselves. Manos is horrible, and painful to watch, but this takes it to a new level. Imagine coming home and finding a brain-eating zombie. Pretty bad, right? Now imagine that the zombie is your mom. Much, much worse.
I've seen a similar thing with a neighbor of mine in our apartment building. We're on Comcast--and the congestion stopped when he switched to DSL (He had been sharing the connection of another neighbor, who moved out.)
William Shatner: You know, before I answer any more questions there's something I wanted to say. Having received all your letters over the years, and I've spoken to many of you, and some of you have traveled... y'know... hundreds of miles to be here, I'd just like to say... GET A LIFE, will you people? I mean, for crying out loud, it's just a TV show! I mean, look at you, look at the way you're dressed! You've turned an enjoyable little job, that I did as a lark for a few years, into a COLOSSAL WASTE OF TIME!
[ a crowd of shocked and dismayed Trekkies.... ]
I mean, how old are you people? What have you done with yourselves?
[ to "Ears" ] You, you must be almost 30... have you ever kissed a girl?
[ "Ears" hangs his head ]
I didn't think so! There's a whole world out there! When I was your age, I didn't watch television! I LIVED! So... move out of your parent's basements! And get your own apartments and GROW THE HELL UP! I mean, it's just a TV show dammit, IT'S JUST A TV SHOW!
The only way that will happen is if there's a ballot initiative forcing the police to implement it. And it will be fought tooth and nail all the way. There's too much money in traffic enforcement for anyone on the receiving end to want to change things.
I think most sites will compete to see how many different fonts they can cram on one page. I'm not sure where I'd look to find them, now that GeoCities is shut down. Maybe Myspace?
If I were a lawmaker, I don't think it would seem so stupid. I support the laws the media organizations want me to support, and they keep sending me money. Where's the problem?
Continuity is the least of their problems. If they had focused on making it the least bit fucking interesting, I would have overlooked a few continuity mistakes.
Not to mention that improved code quality means less time spent fixing things in the future, either because bugs were avoided, or because the code is easier to maintain.
Looking at their website, I'm convinced this guy has a big idea (that's worth exploring), and somehow convinced the DoT to give him some money, but he'll be unable to produce it.
He also has a website here.
Tell that to Imhotep.
Nope, just a bad URL. Correct link
HTML and Javascript was next. I got <breally</b> good at that.
+1 for unintentional irony.

I googled 318x.com and SQL injection and found this. A little further searching revealed that Asprox has been ramping up activity recently.

Most of the requests were cops checking on their spouses, or other significant others.
At least there's a Baloney Detection Kit. If only we could get people to use it...
I wish I had mod points. There's a dearth of simple human compassion around here.
I'm guessing the exception handling in python is more expensive than finding the length of your ArrayList-like object and responding accordingly.

When my ship pulled into Hawaii, I spent my liberty installing Slackware on my personal laptop.
You must be great fun at parties.

I'd be happy if they simply killed off the wall wart.
But can you stop the government from giving your money to the corporations?
Unless he logged into the webmail acounts from a Metron computer, over the Metron network.
When I saw CBT, I thought of a different definition. One that could also be effective in modifying behavior.
Ten years ago, I'd agree. Now...eh. Just call me when Leela does a spread.
But what about the articles?!
